Day 20

The stew that I made has finished up, today. I need to make another meal. I'm thinking about doing what I was about to do two days ago. The body of Mr. Wizzeffer should still have some meat on him. Or if I'm lucky, some more big maggots. The crew needs something to eat. I'll return in a little while to finish my journal.

Update:

I sneaked into storage, again. Took the body of the cartographer and brought him to the kitchen. There were no more maggots on him, this time. Seemed like I took them all for the stew. I was about to take the butcher knife and cut the body into pieces and then mash it, so that it couldn't be recognized. I realized something. I was about to cut into a human. Divulge myself into cannibalism. But then I realized that my crew would starve by the same time tomorrow. The lives of my crew or one already dead man.

I needed to find some way to keep my crew alive. And I was planning on making the body into stew two days ago, as well. It was just luck that there were some big maggots that could be eaten instead. What could be the problem? It's necessary, I thought. At that moment, I cut the body. This task was really difficult in both body and mind. If Kara is reading this, please forgive me.

Update 2:

As I was about to sleep after I finished making the stew for tomorrow, I realized that maybe Harry would be watching the deck for me fishing. As I realized this I grabbed my fishing pole and a bucket, and I went straight there. As I was walking out towards the deck, I saw Harry overlooking the deck. I was right. He smiled and waved at me. I waved back with my fishing pole. As soon as he saw that I was about to fish, he left to his own quarters. I didn't have any bait, but, in the case he is still watching from somewhere, I decided to pretend to fish.

It's a very lovely night
