Conomi Islands part 1

Dear diary, I regret not training a navigator as soon as I could. The anime really downplayed the awful weather in One Piece. Just thinking about it I feel a bit queasy. I don't even want to imagine what it will be like once on the Grand Line.

The crew has spoken ! We need someone to help us navigate the seas.

After a few more days sailing and partying, we heard Eric shout from the crow's nest. "I see land over there !" Just in time. We really needed to restock on food and fresh water. We saw a small dock a bit further from the village and decided to land there.

Upon seeing a devastated village with every house upside down, I knew why the name Conomi Islands was so familiar to me. Nami, the future Straw Hat crew navigator, is from a village named Cocoyasi in the Conomi Islands. "I always hated that asshole Arlong." I said. "Listen up people ! How about we go get ourselves some fish'n chips ?"

Eric and Bella: "Preach it, sister !"

Oh right, they don't have fish'n chips around here...

"Let's go kick some wannabe fishman tyrant in the butt." I said, lamenting once more their lack of pop-culture references.

Eric said he didn't feel comfortable leaving the Black Pearl unattended while there may be dangerous people around. It has been a while since I went on proper date with my girls. The two of them seemed as eager as I do to have some 'fun' before going back to exploring. I of course try to keep this diary as SFW as I can so anyone reading this will have to once more make do with their imagination...
