1 Chapter 1-A second chance

I never thought I would spend my last minutes on earth staring at the night sky while the town I have lived all my life was about to be destroyed. My only option left is to lay and wait for death. As I stared into the sky I started to think of what my friends would say to me right now. If jake was here he probably is telling me to get up and Lilly would say that everything's going to be okay. As time past by my eyes started to close. 

suddenly I remembered what lily said before she died," We have lost so many friends and family to him and a lot more will be lost if he isn't stopped, so I want you to promise me this. That you will stop him." She died in front of me with a big smile, that smile sparked something inside me. This really how it was supposed to end? What will happen to everyone once I pass away? Who will stop him? Can I really give up now?..... I started to get on my feet telling myself to fulfill my promise.

 My heart began to speed up back to its normal pace while I slowly got up. With only one thought in my mind, I always keep my promises, no matter what. I stared up at what I can only describe as a giant pillar of darkness that reached through the sky and to the moon. The pillar was causing cracks to form on the moon. I had to stop that pillar before he could release the one trapped inside it. 

And they're watching over the pillar was him, the one behind everything. My anger started to grow. "Xenon!", I yelled. He turned around surprised at first but then smiled." Oh, so you survived that attack, but you should have run when you had the chance" I called out my stand sword knight and got ready to fight him.

 He stood there while little purple orbs formed around him. With a longsword in each of my stands hands, I quickly approached him. He put his hand out toward em sending the purple orbs at me. Sword knight flew in front of me and started slicing the orbs in our way. His arms moving so fast that I was seeing multiple arms. He smiled and sent more orbs behind us that quickly turned around to hit me from behind. My stand isn't fast enough to deflect them so I had to just block them. Once they made contact with me they exploded. I stood there taking each and every hit, each explosion feeling like I got hit by a thousand needles. With so many explosions around me, a cloud of purple smoke formed around me.

 Explosion after explosion, it seemed to last forever and my body was reaching its limit. When the barrage finally stopped but I couldn't see anything. After Something glowing purple above me, but it was disfigured due to the smoke. I switched my sword knights equip from longswords to a greatsword. Then slashed the air, pushing the air away in all directions. Revealing a massive purple orb the size of an entire two-story house.

 Xenon floated next to the ball with his left hand almost touching the edge. He was looking down on me with a devilish smile," It has been fun, but I must tend to free my lord. I bid you goodbye." He moved his left hand to point in my direction making the massive orb quickly moved towards me. I switched to a sword shield to try and block the orb. Sword knight with the bladed shield went in front of me to push it back, but he wasn't strong enough. He was slowly getting pushed back, it was taking all my energy and focus just to slow it down. Suddenly the orb got stronger and started speeding up. I tried my hardest to push back but, the shield couldn't hold out. It all happened quickly. The shield broke into pieces. With the shield gone nothing over protecting me. The orb proceeded to consume my stand and me. I floated inside the orb with darkness and small purple pellets all-around me. Every part of my body in pain that got worse and worse. In an instant, all the pain disappeared.

I woke to the hard ground. Barely breathing I got up to find myself in a large crater made by the orb. I silently climbed out where xenon was staring at the pillar again. He turned around surprised," You can't avoid death for long".I smiled switched to my throwing knives." who said I was avoiding it" With three knives in each of my stands hands, I threw them at him then quickly ran towards him. His stand, an angel that was black and gray came out to protect him using its wings to blow the knives on to the ground."Ace you're going to have to try harder to hit me". I smiled then using me stand to switch to a rapier and stuck it to the ground so it can bend behind us. When it straightened I was launched past xenon into the pillar. I could hear xenon's response to that move as I passed him" Nani". Once in I brought out my stand and using the rapier I sliced all the cubes inside since they were making the pillar. After I did so they started glowing brightly. 

The pillar quickly went away and I was on the ground. Xenon now in shock" You fool, look what you did". He gave an angrily look then In a hurry, he opened a  portal below him and jumped in. The portal closing the minute he got threw. I looked at the cube pieces that were shining Brighter and brighter. I put my hands in front of me to block my eyes from the light.

" Oh good, you're awake now".  I opened my eyes and pushed the light away. Above me was my mom smiling down at me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. Mom then went to the door while talking" hurry up, you're gonna miss your bus". I looked at my alarm clock then scrambled out of bed. I heard a chuckle from her before she left.

I quickly ran to my bus stop determined not to miss the bus. The whole way there I yelled at myself for oversleeping. Once I got there the bus was ready to go, if it wasn't for my friend Jake I probably would've missed the bus. Thanks to him the bus stopped for me letting me on. I walked over and sat by my hero."Dude, that was close,'' Jake said. I nervously laughed. We talked threw out the bus ride, the whole time I had serious deja vu.
