Wanderer

Raijin and Freddy sat on the ground in the middle of the forest. Freddy seemed completely find, if not a little confused. Raijin however was laying on the ground silently crying. He had just lost his grandfather and now his sister to, and he knew it was his fault for bringing them here. He was just a three thousand seven hundred seventeen year old kid, and his only friend was a parasyte infested bear that he named after a video game character. He finally realized the mental tole he was taking.

He had been trying to act like Joseph Joestar and he tried to be brave, but the only life experience he has had was when he was six, with everything else being his training. He tried to be serious and couldn't even train himself in time. Now he has to kill his sister because he had to grab that damn vase that hasn't been talked about since the first few chapters.

"Why? Why did I do that? I keep ending up back on this question, yet I still cant answer it. Why did I come here? Why didnt I just let Asami and myself fall that day. Then grandpa would be alive and Asami wouldn't have lost her mind. I ruined that by making a deal with that damn genie! No Raijin! It wasn't the genies fault, he told you that there would be consequences and you didnt listen! You did this!" Raijin yelled at himself in the middle of the forest, making Freddy even more confused, he even felt his first hint of emotion even if it was only there because of the parts of the bear that couldn't be altered, pity.

He only knew Raijin for a few days and the only thing he had done for him is put him under a mind control spell and make him train, so why would he feel sadness for him yet? All he felt was pity.

Raijin didnt train for the rest of the day and simply sat there crying, stopping only to refresh Freddy's mind control. Freddy killed and ate anything that got to close to them, so Raijin was pretty safe while he drowned himself in tears. He just lay there and continued to repeatedly curse himself in his mind.

---------------------------------

With that, many months passed. It was now July tenth 5740. (I think, I'm not sure anymore. We will just say Senku arrives in America September 5740, because I don't remember the exact date. If this is wrong, then we will just say that its different in this world okay?)

(Also, nothing important happened during this time.)

Raijin was now almost twenty. For the past months, he hadn't done much. He had been traveling still, but he only just barely reached Los Angeles after over a year. He could have easily reached it in a month, however he had basically lost his motivation to try. That motivation wasn't Asami, it was his greed.

He had come to this world expecting to be able to go on a fun adventure, gain magic powers, and keep what he liked about life safe, but that was just hum being greedy. If you want something as much as he did, you cant expect it to come for free, everything has a price. Although he had already paid that by being forced to face a vampire and parasytes, and even living for thousands of years in solitude, there was no way he could just gain super powers, go on an adventure and keep his family. That only works when plot armor is an enigma, and it is an actual character here, so there was no chance.

"Freddy, come here! I need you to find a camp site." Raijin said as he looked at the giant bear next to him.

Freddy had grown over the past year, like, a lot. The average height of a grizzly bear is 8 feet (2.4 meters) when standing, and the average weight is 600 pounds (272 kg). Freddy's weight after over a year of nonstop physical and hamon training, as well as the adaptive ability of the parasytes enhancing it, had reached a terrifying three tons, and this wasn't fat, this was condensed muscle and bode. His height when standing was now 12 feet (3.6 meters). He was massive.

He had been training a lot harder then Raijin was. He did this to try to cheer Raijin up, because he could tell that Raijin wasn't in the best mental state, and wouldn't be able to defend him if they were attacked. He just repeated the same training that Raijin had him do on their first day, and increased the reps whenever it was to easy.

Although he wasn't training nearly as much, his body didnt let him slack off. It had developed an instinct to train, to the point where it was like an addiction. Like how a smoker has an extremely difficult time quitting, except a hundred times more difficult. The reason for this is because of his unlimited evolution, meaning he could evolve in anyway he wanted. He had already showed his body how beneficial training was, so his body didnt want to give it up, even if his mind did.

So everyday, he still did a little training in hamon wavelengths, physical training (although not much), he still did the Uberman sleep cycle and Wim Hof method, and he practiced music. The last one wasn't because he thought he was bad, just not good enough. He knew that the mood he was in was dangerous to him and Freddy, so he wanted to find a way out of it, and he believed music was the answer.

Music had a huge influence on emotions and mental state when it is played right, and he wanted to harness this. To do this he practiced music using hamon infused with as much positive emotion he could muster, which wasn't a lot. He also practiced playing every inspirational song he could think of. Right now he was playing another song, which had a lot of happiness, but more of a fake happiness and it still felt empty.

Oh the power to be strong

And the wisdom to be wise

All these things will come to you in time

On this journey that you're making

There'll be answers that you'll seek

And it's you who'll climb the mountain

It's you who'll reach the peak

(This should be easy as it is another Disney song. Its currently my favorite song to exercise to, if you have any other recommendations, commenting them would be a very kind move.)

The song would normally feel inspirational and uplifting, and it still did, to the untrained ear. To those who could pick up on emotions, they could easily hear the pain behind each word, and the sadness in his eyes.

As for Raijin's other training results, he hadn't gotten as far as he should have. He estimated to be adapted to X rays by now and he thought he would be starting Gamma rays, however, he had only gotten to an acceptable level on X rays. He had mastered all the previous wavelengths in a few months like thought he would, because they were easy to adapt to in comparison to UV rays and X rays, let alone Gamma or Cosmic.

(The lower wavelengths didnt do much for him other then give him resistance. I'm only going to make it so that the higher ones give him massive boosts. So you don't have to worry about him suddenly gaining a ton of strength right now, the increase was only a little and he only gained resistance to the wavelengths, nothing else.)

So, he could do a lot more with his hamon now then anyone in the show, however he hadn't made any new moves or worked on control to much. He had also increased in physical power, but not by an amount that needs to be mentioned.

After he finished singing, Raijin sat down and looked at Freddy, who found a camp site and was waiting for Raijin to set it up.

"Thanks bud, you've been very helpful for the past months." Raijin said as he patted Freddy on the back, which made Freddy grunt and nudge him.

(Freddy wont be talking, although he will understand speech, he wont talk back. He will be more like the animal sidekick of a Disney princess, Mulan doesn't count. It would feel weird if one of them started to talk, so think of Freddy like that.)

Raijin unpacked his backpack and started to set up camp. On the plus side to him being alone, he had learnt a lot about living off the land. He had known this before, but he never had a need to use it aside from his first three months alone in Alaska. He now had built up a lot more experience in camping and hunting, especially when he had to hunt for himself and a three ton bear, both of which had huge appetites. Especially when you think about how he has to specifically hunt bears for Freddy to eat.

"Freddy, Why don't you leave?" Raijin asked the bear, which surprised Freddy. "You don't have to stay with me anymore, I can release you from he mind control. I am grateful that you have stayed with me all this time, but you would live easier if you were on your own."

Freddy thought about it for a moment, but smiled (smiled as much as a bear can) and crawled over to him. He then sat around him and fell asleep, which didnt really answer Raijin's question, but he was still satisfied.

Raijin leaned back on him and started to fall asleep to. It was almost night time and the horizon seemed to be especially colorful that night. Raijin thought about how his new friend had stayed with him despite him not having to now, and he felt happiness for the first time in a while.

*BANG

For some reason, Raijin's had all of the sudden stood up and his arm shot out at superspeed. When he realized what just happened, he was in a combat position and Freddy was up and looking around vigilantly.

When Raijin looked at his now extended arm, he found a bullet. 'Did I just catch a Fucking bullet?' Raijin thought as he was astonished at his super speed, which he didnt have any way of measuring against modern weapons until now.

"How truly elegant that was!" Raijin heard a voice say from the dark areas of the trees. He could see him though, even if he was hidden by the trees shadow.

"To catch a bullet that's moving at eighteen hundred miles an hour (2896 kph) without any prior warning. No human could possibly do that. And that bear! Oh what a magnificent creature!" The man said as he stepped out of the trees, followed by another figure holding a sniper riffle.

You might be thinking, there is no way he would have his sniper come out of hiding, and you would be right, if it weren't for Freddy staring right at the sniper from afar with a look that could kill. They knew they were exposed and that their enemy was fast, so they didnt want to risk it and decided to both step out.

The first man hand a a huge thick black X across his face and was wearing a long black coat, as well as some weird flinger things. The second was a man with a thin M across his face and beneath his eyes. He was wearing a weird black turtle neck that looked like it was from a sci fi movie, and was smoking while carrying his gun.

Raijin recognized them immediately, and his mood soared. 'The canon is going to start soon isn't it?' He thought to himself. But this mood didnt last long, as he realized that he might have changed the canon to much by now for it to happen. He then got depressed again as he thought he wouldn't even be able to go on an adventure. He underestimates the power of plot armor.

"Hello young man, may I ask who you may be?" The X marked man asked him.

"Why don't you tell me your name first? Also, you don't look that much older then me, so don't pretend you are." Raijin replied.

"Fine then. I guess I don't have a choice when faced with a bullet catching man and a twelve foot bear now do I? My name is Xeno Houston Wingfield, pleased to make your acquaintance." Xeno said.

"Pleasures all mine Dr. Xeno. My name is Raijin."
