hey

so in school we were writing poems and I thought it'd be great if other people could try it too! so first take your name

and take three of the sounds in your name

mine for example:

a [says its name]

e [says its name]

next make a list of words that have these sounds in them

stone

lone

H20

bone

no

known

bestow

go

alone

a

lay

bay

stay

away

rain

pain

stain

sane

weight

e

disease

leave

tree

bee

near

three

bean

seen

deer

fear

next just pick one word from each list

and make sure they're in the same order

stone weight seen

then put some words in between them. dont worry about it making sense

a stone's weight is never seen

and continue like that until you have maybe 12-20 lines

finally give you poem a name. a topic that's applied to a good amount of the words you used

a 4 line example:

title: the stone all alone

a stone's weight is never seen

alone where it rains by the tree.

The H20 raining with all the fear,

only bones will stay near here.
