6 Chapter 5: Information and Indication

4:30am, in the orphanage.:

"Why hello there, what's your name?"The matron asked with a cheery smile on her face.

"Jake, miss....."Jake answered, while waiting to hear her last name.

"Oh just call me Lucy, Since you're going to be staying here we should be on a first name basis"The matron answered with the same smile

"I'm staying here?"Jake asked with a hint of curiosity, what made her think he would be staying here.

"Well, Lucas told me all about you and i don't think a child with parents would be walking on the streets like you were. I'm also sure it would be quite beneficial for you to learn more about your stand as well as James' and Lucas' stands, or even mine." The matron asked while giggling a little at their shocked faces.

"YOU HAVE A STAND?" James' yelled out, face completely pale at the shock.

"Why yes i do, Lucas and you two are the only ones who know this. But i must say that your stand is very interesting James, although please refrain from using it on other children if you will."The matron requested.

"S-sure"James' huffed out.

"Well then, what's your stand?"Jake asked, He was infact very curios to see what her stand was.

"This is my stand, Mother Mother" The matron said as her stand manifested from behind her."It's not much for combat at all, especially compared to your stands but it definitely helps me with my job.

"Wait, then how come iv'e never seen it?"James' asked, even more pale.

"I've just been very sneaky about it, and since you've never bothered to check if anyone in the orphanage had a stand it wasn't to hard for you to just brush of the odd things i managed to do as as a coincidence or your mind playing tricks on you it made hiding my stand that much easier."The matron explained to him, her warm smile never faltering.

"So, does anyone else in the orphanage have a stand?"James' asked, hoping she would say no as to save his skin and it's colour fading away from even more shock.

"No deary, atleast nor to my knowledge."The matron told him"Alright then, Let's go find Lucas." James' said to Jake, on the walk to the orphanage they had become sort of friends considering the similarity's they had between their personality's and interests.

"Yeah, sure."He replied, and with that they walked away.

"I can tell they will be good friends." The matron said to Mother Mother. "Yes, I'm sure they will." The stand chorused back.

Mother Mother is a slim stand with a very human like build, Mother Mother's head is a diamond and has Long flowing purple hair that goes down to it's knees. Mother Mother is a very light shade of pink with seemingly random dots of blue on different parts of the stand.

Abilities:

The only ability Mother Mother has is calming people down and making them happy, Unless you count helping the matron out with cleaning around the orphanage and cooking breakfast lunch and dinner for the children at the orphanage an ability.

4:33pm, in Lucas' room:

"Alright you guys, i got some old newspapers from different country from different times and i thought we could go over them to see if we could learn anything about stands. I think they could help us with learning about stands because from what i was told when buying them, these ones in particular are pretty bizarre."Lucas explained to them.

"Ok"Jake an James both replied at the same time.

Lucas just sweat dropped and then began look through the news papers while reading them aloud. "Hmmmmmm..... This one's from Italy and only like a week old, Some guy called Bucci- Bu-..... Wow, how do you pronounce that? Whatever, it says he became a "capo". Not really important, although I'll put him down as a possible stand user. An ambulance snapped some guys neck, says the guy was already bloodied before he died, Apparently his name was Kosaku Kawajiri. It also says there was this guy called Jotaro Kujo near this accident but when he was going to be questioned the speedwagon foundation stopped the police from questioning him. This one's from Italy again and it's only a bit older than the first one, a previous "capo" called polpo died from apparent suicide. Still not helpful. This one's..... wait, this one's odd...." Lucas listed, leaving Jake and James confused at the last one.

"What is it?"They both asked.

"Well... It's just that, this newspaper doesn't have any words on it...."Lucas slowly replied, looking the newspaper through again just to be sure.

"Idiot's"The newspaper whispered, or at least it seemed it was the newspaper whispering.

"what'd you say Lucas?"James asked, a little bit angry since he didn't know if misheard or if he was being insulted.

"What?"Lucas asked?"

"Lemme make it easier for you." James said grabbing Lucas by the collar. "Did you call me an idiot?"

"What?! I thought it was you calling us that out of frustration!" Lucas replied in fear.

"Heh, buncha' dumb asses"The newspaper taunted.

"Oh! So it was you wasn't it you blue haired freak?!"James yelled at Jake

"What are you on about? I didn't say anything!"Jake protested.

"Now's my time"The newspaper said. Then a shadowy hand came out from it, inching closer while James and Jake were arguing. "Closer..." The newspaper whispered again "Closer...." The newspaper whispered again. "HA- SHIT!" The newspaper yelled out when a red sword slashed in it's direction. "Thought you had us distracted huh?" Jake asked, smirk far too evident of his face.

"Damn..."The hand muttered. "Guess I have to kill you the bloody way!" It yelled as the hand shot out of the ground revealing an all black shadow. "My stands name is "The Shadows"!"

The Shadows is a completely black stand resembling a shadow, it ha no facial features or special quirks to it's looks. The Shadows figure resembles that of an average well built man. There is nothing more to say about The Shadows

Abilities:

Stolen Darkness:

If The Shadows comes in contact with some ones shadow then that shadow will get off of the ground and will become loyal to The Shadows, This shadow will then be dubbed "The Shadows:(Name of the person that had their shadow stolen). The Shadows can have an infinite amount of shadows, however is someone is in a place they would not normally cast a shadow then The Shadows will lose control of that persons shadow forever until he steals it again. The shadow that The Shadows steals strength will be based off of how much of that persons shadow it steals and the stronger a person is the more time it will take to steal their full shadow. If The Shadows steals someone's shadow then that shadow will have the Abilities of the person it was stolen from, so if The Shadows were to steal Dio's shadow that shadow would have The World and would have time stop but the amount of strength and time stop power would be based off of how much of Dio's shadow was stolen.

Birth: The Shadows is able to make different things out of it's own energy but these things strength is based off of how much energy was used.

The Shadows lept at Jake, but when Black Emperor appeared and swung it's sword at The Shadows the new stand went straight to the wall to then bounce to the ceiling and finally bounce at Jakes shadow. It lingered for a bit to the surprise of everyone else in the room. White Avalon swung it's sword at The Shadows but was blocked by a fully black sword that came out of no-where. "What the hell Jake! Get your Black Emperor to move it's sword! and why does it look like a shadow?" James' Asked. Jakes only reply was to Summon Black Emperor behind him, Jake and James shared confused faces. The Shadows shot through James' leg and onto his shadow to then rest there, until Jake yelled out "James! I know what his ability is! It's to-" Jake was then silenced by a punch to the face by The Shadows: Jake. "What the hell! Where did shadow me come from?!" Jake yelled out before covering his nose with his hands. "When i jumped onto your shadow i stole a good amount of it, over half of it. Usually for strong people like you it takes a bit to take as much as i did but since you were off guard it was pretty simple. When i stole your shadow i made it summon The Shadows: Black Emperor. Kekekekeke, i'm invincible!" The Shadows Explained with an all too taunting posture.

"Oh yeah? Let's see about that!" James yelled as he charged forward with White Avalon right behind him. "Shut up you idiot!" The Shadows: James yelled as it brought out The Shadows: White Avalon and caused a gust of wind to blast James into one of Lucas' bookshelf's, Lucas however when more concerned about whether he was going to live or not, but to The Shadows surprise White Avalon was not deterred at all and sliced The Shadows: White Avalon in half causing The Shadows: James to get sliced in half as well. White Avalon didn't keep it's guard down however as it used it's sword to block a few punches from floating hands that The Shadows made while it was forced to take the other punches head on brining James more pain. Jake had finished fighting his shadow copy as well but managed to beat it as it wasn't as strong as him.... But another copy appeared to fight Jake and the same could be said for James. "Ha! You idiots! Even if you beat the your shadow copy that doesn't just destroy the part of your shadow I took from you!" That sentence made everyone else pale. Fast Forward a bit longer and things weren't looking too good, Jake and James were tired from the fights they were having whenever their shadow double was re-created and eventually they were going to lose. "Aguh! Shit!" Jake yelled as he was caught off guard and shoved into the wall. However Lucas noticed something, When Jake went flying into the wall The Shadows looked like it was tensing a little bit. All Lucas had to do was figure out why, He looked the wall over until....'THAT'S IT! I KNOW THIS STANDS WEAKNESS', he went to summon his stand until he though it over 'If This guys knows i'm a stand user then he'll probably try to take my shadow and get it to fight me aswell, for now he thinks i'm one of their friends who knows off stands but doesn't have one..... At least i hope so, but either way if i use my stand i'll give it away that i'm trying to do something. Think, think, think... Okay! I have a plan'. Lucas slowly went to bend down and pick up something, a book. He slowly stood up again. 'Ready' He got into a throwing stance.'Aim' He took aim. "FIRE!" He launched the book at the wall, Into the light switch. "SHIT, IT'S SO DARK!" James yelled out. "Alright you guys i think i figured out his weakness, when i flip the light switch again he shouldn't have your guy's shadows anymore" Lucas yelled out.

"Hell yeah" James and Jake Celebrated. Lucas flipped the light switch and looked back to see White Avalon and Black Emperor launching a punch at The Shadows, "SHIT!" The Shadows yelled out before it got launched back from the two fists hitting it in the head, it fell back unconscious and then vanished. "Okay, the user must be passed out. Now lets go find him and tie him up back here" Jake yelled out, then running down stairs followed by James and then Lucas. They found the User Knocked out in a bush, or Atleast they thought it was the user, and then took him to Lucas' room.

"Sooooooo....... Now we have to wait got him to wake up.... Wanna play a game on the Pc?" Lucas' asked, pointing to his Computer. "Sure" Lucas and Jake both answered.

And with that they played on the PC while also checking to check whether he was awake or not.

Authors Note: Hello everyone, sorry for not updating for a while. In all honestly i just haven't feeling up to it, so as an apology i made a chapter that is almost double the length of my normal chapters with what i think i a cool fight scene. So yeah, again, sorry.
