1 Preface.

Our story begins in Detroit, a city once dominated by 43 American factories, producing many many cars. Now, as the factories are shut down, most of the city became abandoned, and being slowly ruined by vegetablists. I know what you're going to say "vegetables are good for heath". I don't have anything against an abandoned part of the city, trying to be revived by vegetablists. What I do have a problem with is Detroit, one of the biggest automotive cities, being slowly ruined by vegetablists. Go grow your vegetables in another abandoned city, ya twits!

Anyway. Our main charachter is John "Scott" Prescott, a 17-year-old high schooler and an automotive enthusiast, who has made a name racing a R32 Skyline Nissan, which he modified himself, in the abandoned streets of Detroit. John had a lot of friends who raced with and against him, the closest of which were David Brown, who raced a R34 Skyline, and Benny "Healey" Hartford, nicknamed for racing a heavily modifed Austin Healey 3000 Mk3.

Mant members of his family are car enthusiasts, one of them is his 23-year-old cousin, Jacqueline Barclay, who is a classic car collector. He and Jacqui aren't too close, they rarely meet and John doesn't think much of her. She mostly has Alfa Romeos, a point where John and she separate, but she also restores old Bugattis, Cricklewood Bentleys etc.
