Jin-woo had experimented a bit these few days and he realized that after getting the reward window, he could keep it closed and choose later. This was kind of a cheat code because he would be able to save Status Regeneration, which would restore everything on his status window. He wouldn't be tired anymore, he won't be exhausted of cursed energy… that would serve as one of the trump cards.

Not only that, he also opened multiple gifts already, and alongside multiple items which were stored in his inventory, he received a type of talisman that could create a domain kind of like a dungeon, with monsters with the levels according to the difficulty of the dungeon. The first talisman he had received was only of Grade 3… perfect chance to level up.

'But it's a shame I can't simply have multiple reward windows at the same time, I'd prefer to have at least a few status regenerations up on my sleeve…' It would've been extremely overpowered to have infinite status regenerations, but Jin-woo understood that he should be thankful for even one.

'I'll try this talisman today, after I finish this daily quest. With my current state, this will take me quite a while…'

The semester was already a few weeks ago, and Gojo was already planning to start training Jin-woo. First things first, Gojo being very bad at explaining things, had an even tougher time explaining everything in English. Jin-woo was not proficient enough to understand even a single sentence, so the theory lessons provided by Gojo were bad.

But what wasn't tough to explain was martial arts, in which Gojo was an expert and had deep insight. Jin-woo's brain started acting like a sponge, quickly learning how to fight with his fists. He was taught a little bit how to fight back in Korea, he purposely started learning Kendo, or Kumdo as it was called in Korea.

His feet movement was greatly influenced and helped him to maintain a good enough distance between the opponents. This helped Gojo to teach Jin-woo in a more aggressive manner, after all, they didn't have much time. The Korean received quite a lot of beating, but this served as a great experience.

(Note: Someone might say that System would recognize this as a threat, but I believe it's associated with the person's bloodlust.)

"Since you are still far away from learning complicated cursed techniques, we'll be improving your hand-to-hand combat. There are multiple techniques that I want to teach you as well." Gojo said as he knocked Jin-woo off the balance, pinning him on the ground with his leg.

Acting quick, Jin-woo attempted to leg lock Satoru Gojo, but the bit of wrestling knowledge appeared futile with the white-haired teacher, as the Six-Eyes greatly increased his reaction time. He simply jumped away before this could happen.

Jin-woo was already panting, 'I'm already tired… I guess it's due to my daily quest as well. Should I use status regeneration? No.' He still had in mind to use the talisman.

"Come again~" Gojo grinned, making a gesture that he was ready for Jin-woo's offense.

…

Training with Gojo was exhausting nevertheless. The strongest sorcerer pushed Jin-woo to his limits and he wasn't able to connect a punch, despite Gojo not utilizing limitless. This showed levels… but to be completely honest, not even Grade 1 sorcerers would be able to connect punches when it comes to Gojo Satoru.

It brought great joy to him that he was learning under the tutelage of such a powerful sorcerer. Since Gojo saw potential in him, all the concerns about him not being able to become powerful died down, now Jin-woo was concentrated on the present, by training more and actually learning things.

The night time arrived as they wrapped up their training and Jin-woo went to take a shower. Also while in his dorm, Jin-woo opened his inventory and equipped a talisman in his hands.

[Item: Talisman

Grade: 3

Note: The talisman allows the player to enter a domain filled with curses. Can be activated anytime at Shinjuku Railway Station.]

Putting on some warm clothes and a hoodie, Jin-woo left the dorm and the Jujutsu High School and left for the location using Google Maps. The location was quite far away, a few hours walk at least. But Jin-woo didn't mind that and just continued.

Shinjuku Station was still bustling with people even at night, it was one of the most used railway stations in all of Japan. When arriving there, Jin-woo had no idea how he was going to use the talisman without being noticed, but right at the underground entrance of the stations, the path was blocked by a dark wall… which like RPG games, required a key to be opened.

That key was of course the Grade 3 Talisman. Jin-woo put on the wall, and the wall turned translucent, he could see people walking in and out, but as he stepped in, the vision changed. All the people disappeared and there was only an empty Shinjuku Station in front of him. With no cursed spirits at sight though.

[Inventory] [Category of Items: All]

[Item: Cursed Knife

Grade: 3]

Jin-woo equipped one of the items he received from the mystery box. It was just a casual knife imbued with cursed energy. His previous sword was broken in pieces, this was his only option for now. It should be able to handle the grade 3 cursed spirits.

'I don't feel the same way I felt in the special grade's domain… there's no similar pressure.' As he stepped further, he could finally understand what it meant to be an actual sorcerer, instead of being an assistant for others. Without him realizing, Jin-woo had gone into his hunting mode.

'These curses…' Multiple of them showed up on his path and he only barely searched the first platform. Jin-woo brought up his knife and began to agitate the curses, "Come here, ugly creatures…"

Instantly the signs popped up on the curses, alerting Jin-woo that their attention was on him and what grade they were of. 'Only Grade 4… they won't be trouble.' He didn't wait any longer and dashed, with his knife equipped in the right, he put it straight into an approaching flying curse. The purple blood spurted out on Jin-woo's hand and the curse died instantaneously.

Jin-woo dissipated the cursed spirit with one swing and switched onto the second one, who received the same judgment as previous. Had its skull pierced with a knife before it could think of something. 'So, the cursed spirits do have… some kind of intelligence, although a bit low.' He noted this after the curse tried to escape seeing others in demise.

'There are three underground platforms over here, so I'll have to clear all of them before I reach the boss I suppose.'

Shinjuku Station, Tokyo, Japan - 01:20 AM

[Alarm: You have Leveled Up!]

[Alarm: You have Leveled Up!]

[Alarm: You have Leveled Up!]

As Jin-woo killed a few more curses, his level went up by three. This gifted him with three statistics points, which he instantly invested in strength. His status window was finally getting some more attention, 'I already leveled up three times, and I received nine statistics points. I can feel my strength increasing. This is incredible…'

This was the moment when Jin-woo realized that killing curses by himself was really cheating. His status window showed that he was already on level three, (His level didn't go up with daily quests.), but separate statistics went up little by little.

Jin-woo's health points increased according to the amount of points he invested in the vitality, while the Cursed Energy points didn't increase as much but it tripled compared to his previous amount. Even if it wasn't so apparent and he couldn't control it, he still felt it flowing through his body.

'I need to level up more…'

The hunt began, with the teenager being fired up about all the levels he could gain if continued this way. His strength increased so much this time that slaying even bigger curses that approached was not an issue, he probably has transitioned into being Grade 3 sorcerer. Compared to the fourth grade, that was a big increase.

The real grade three cursed spirits started showing up as he got close to the second underground platform of Shinjuku. Those were wolf-like cursed spirits, probably born from the fright associated with those animals. Unlike previous cursed spirits, these ones had battle capable bodies and were more tenacious.

Jin-woo should avoid being swarmed by an entire pack and attack wisely. Their increased aggression on him and the noises they made to intimidate him were a sign of their similarity to the real wolves. But turning around in this situation would be idiotic. 'I just have to protect my neck, that's where they like to attack the most.'

He made a gesture, signaled and yelled… the wolves were bulging from their places, but they were still hesitant. 'I need at least one of them to step out.' It was a trick to get at least one out of the formation… he succeeded in that, one of the wolves attacked first and its courage was followed by others.

'That's it!' Instead of using his knife to try and pierce the thick fur of the cursed spirit, Jin-woo punched it with all his might, smashing the wolf against the concrete walls of the station. It didn't die, but the impact greatly damaged it. Now the matter was about killing them all one by one.

Jin-woo avoided approaching wolves, 'My body feels so much lighter.' Even he was surprised by the way he managed to escape the curse's fangs. With a combination of his already light weight, the newly gotten strength helped him to move a bit faster than the wolves.

His knife stabbed another wolf under the neck and as he felt the curse's blood on his hands, he slashed it in all directions cutting up the neck and killing the cursed spirit. All of those kills gained him quite a lot of experience points.

[Alarm: You have Leveled Up!]

'Take this!' He punched another approaching wolf directly under the chin knocking it off the balance. Suddenly, the cursed wolves who wanted to feast on the human, became prey of the sorcerer named Sung Jin-woo.

The three wolves were slain easily, giving Jin-woo some time to invest earned points into more strength. 'What interests me is… how I can damage the cursed spirits with just physical attacks. Does the system automatically make cursed energy flow through my body?'
