'Roger will probably return after a year, after reaching Raftel and being claimed as The Pirate King', thought Jack.

Ahh, I also want to find the secrets of this world, of what transpired in the Void Century, the Will of D, or what that Im person wants.

So many mysteries to uncover, and I can't wait to grow up and embark upon my journey.

Well, but when I gain Saitama powers I feel everything would be too easy for me.

That guy can destroy planets with a sneeze, I highly doubt anyone in this world will be a problem for me.

How boring would it be?

Huh, feels like I am turning into Saitama before even acquiring his powers.

I shouldn't amuse myself with such a line of thought, otherwise, my life in such an interesting world would turn really boring.

Maybe I should switch my focus from fighting to discovering mysteries of this world, creating my own adventure.

Yes I would do that, create my own adventure and legacy

When I first arrived in this world I felt I should follow the cannon, maybe even help Luffy and his crews. I viewed this world still as anime but as now I realized I am also part of this world.

This is real-world not anime anymore, filled with more adventures that anime could never show.

As the realization hit me I got to know, how boring that would have been, to just babysit the main cast.

Creating my own adventure, is what I will do which means messing with the plot, Luffy might not be pirate the king, but who cares?

I also intend to reach Raftel, to see the truth of this world, and go on my journey in my new world.

Messing with the cannon also means I would change some main plots of the story, which would change the entire course of the story, making my foreknowledge of this world a waste, but it's not as if I care.

With Saitama's strength, I can just punch anything that comes in my way to oblivion.

In front of true strength all the planning, and plotting are doomed to fail.

Strength is all you need.

As Jack was having these ambitious thoughts, without even him knowing he pooped his pants when he felt poop touching his foot he stooped his inner monologue and started crying to get his mother's attention to change his diaper.

Seasons changed one after other signifying the flow of time.

As such a year had passed, the news of Roger being crowned as the pirate king spread all over the blue sea.

This news made Roger the prime target of the World Government as the hunt for a pirate king was going on Roger returned to his family to spend some time before turning himself into marines.

"It's been a while, how have you been", asked Roger looking at his wife who seems to be joyful about his return.

"You have fulfilled your dream, I couldn't be happier for you."

"Now will you at least spend your last moments with me and our son?"

"WAHAHAHA! that's why I am here, my lovely wife to spend my last days with you."

While talking it felt like Rouge was feeling a hard to come on terms with her husband's death, but nevertheless, she put a smile on her face to not worry him.

Roger with his advanced Observation haki noticed what she was feeling and hugged her.

Six happy months were spent between them. For Rouge, these six months were the happiest moment of her life, both of them played with their son.

They also made love a few times, as both knew this would be the last time they would spend together.

Something interesting also happened during this time, as their son for the first time called them mother and father, while it was just in the baby's way of speaking, they both didn't seem to care about it and were joyful.

Until Roger suddenly one morning told her that he will turn himself into marines.

Rouge who heard that was suddenly shocked, loss for words she slammed her hand on the table before replying to him.

"Why just why do you want to do it?", that was all Rouge could say.

"Rouge you know, at maximum, I have only about a few months to live-"

"So what, Do you want to spend the rest of your days in Impel Down before they execute you?", asked Rouge angrily without even waiting for his reply.

Roger put her in his embrace, caressing her back before answering, "I also don't want to do this but for something big, even bigger than me this has to be done."

"And just what is that reason?", inquired Rouge while hugging him.

"To start a new age, to motivate others to reach where I got, to do things I couldn't."

"Who could accomplish such a thing who even you couldn't do?"

"The one who shall inherit my will, the one who shall fulfill the conditions that I couldn't, when the right time comes many things in this world will shift."

"Inherit your will? Is such a thing even possible?", asked Rouge.

"Yes, if things I saw in the last Island were true, then surely someone will inherit the will, the will that has been to the one bearing D in their name since eons."

"The Will of D."

"Does D in our name signifies something?", asked Rouge confusingly.

"Its sure does, that's why World Government hates the one bearing D in their name."

"When I reached Raftel, I discovered many things, the truth about this world about what actually transpired in the void century, why World Government hides it, and many more, I can't exactly explain everything to you but you have to trust me in this."

"Also do you want someone like me to go in a quiet fashion lying in my bed waiting for my death or go out with a bang like a true pirate king for my name to even immortal in World History?"

Rouge who was holding tears in her eyes, hearing what Roger said let out a small chuckle.

"I surely want you to go out with a bang. Do what will make you happy, just remember I will always love you.", said Rouge while lovingly looking toward Roger.

"WAHAHAHA! now that's more like the Rouge I knew and fell in love with."

Unknown to both Rouge and Roger, Jack who was pretending to fall asleep listened to everything Roger had said.

While he was closer to his mother than his father, Jack still felt bad knowing that these few days might be the last when he will see his father.

As he never had good loving parents while back on the earth so he never knew what a loving family was. So this new family was really special to him, something he never had a chance to feel back on earth.

But even though he was sad about Roger's death, he was happy that now his name will really be immortal and be written in history books as the first one who conquered the seas.

What spiked his interest more was the things Roger said, listening to all those things made his blood boil with excitement, and also made him quite determined to start his journey fast.

The day also came when Roger will turn himself to the marines.

Roger after saying goodbyes to Rouge moved toward his one-year-old son.

While lifting him from his cradle, Roger kissed his head.

While he had many things to say to his son, he knew he won't understand most of them so he tried to keep it short.

"Grow up well Jack, be someone to which both I and your mother would be proud of, and most importantly follow your heart."

"Don't let anyone decide your life or your decisions for you. Make your own choices."

"Seek freedom and live as a free soul."

"Also don't create too much trouble for her, be a good kid."

After again kissing his forehead he gave him to Rouge who was standing beside him small tears flowing from her eyes, while still giving him a loving smile.

Roger after bidding farewell to both of the and Rouge's mother got on a small boat and started rowing towards the nearest marine base.

Rouge and Jack both saw Roger's boat disappear in the sea and were left in their own thought with the former still crying a bit remembering the good days she spent with her husband and the latter just thinking about the future.

The next day, only one headline could be seen in the newspaper all over the world which shocked many people including many powerful people all over the new world.
