4 Discovery

"Look, everybody," I said, I mean I've known about this for years. Jessie being my good friend, "This is going to be a long explanation, but my mom told me that someday you'll find out. This was after I completely obliterated our chimney with my bare hands. Mind you, this was when I WAS FOUR!" I took a breath and finally stated, "She said 'someday you'll be great you just have to awaken your power, you just have to.' Now I know what she means, we all have powers, and that trauma awakened it."

"Your kidding," Jessie said we couldn't possibly be special. "We're just normal kids, right?" she looked kinda scared

"No, Allison, we are not 'normal'. You have Shadow powers, as you can see."

"Soo, that's how I 'melted' into the shadows?" she asked. I looked at her with a sarcastic "What do u think?" kinda look. "I'm gonna take that as a yes," she said.

"So, do you know what all of our powers are?" asked Brianan.

I just sighed, "No, but I can guess after you use it." I continued, judging by what has been going on lately, Jessie has shadow powers. Now by lately, I mean at the sleepover I had with her and a few others at my house a few weeks back. We stayed up really late, she and I were outside on the back deck smashing smarties (don't ask) when she said she wanted to grab something from her tent. When she ran over there, she disappeared. At first, I silently panicked, but soon she returned holding a book and I didn't think much of it, but then like 30 minutes later, she went upstairs from the basement to take another marshmallow from the kitchen and she disappeared again, only appearing when the fridge light flashed, but then she disappeared again.

"Just wait a sec, are you saying that I've used my powers before?!?" Jessie yelled, raising her hands in the air.
