5 Standing tall

*BOOM*

The explosion was stronger than what the assassin had expected and in the end, he couldn't escape from the blast and was knocked out ten meters away.

The old man was blown a hundred feet away. Nonetheless, the old man didn't give up as he tightly clinged onto his life.

The same was not the case with the assassin, feeling the cold wind blowing against his little johnny, the assassin gritted his teeth in humiliation.

He wanted to go and beat up the old man once and for all but the reality was pathetic. The blast had knocked the assassin like a rolling rag-doll which caused his spine to get twisted and injured.

The assassin at the moment was paralyzed! He could do nothing but watch as his life slipped away slowly as he could not even treat his injuries.

The old man didn't even look back as he stumbled back and forth as he made his escape.

He soon came across a small water stream and quenched his thirst. The battle had caused a great harm to his life force and also left behind severe internal injuries in his body.

The old man knew although he had seemingly survived the clash, he didn't have more than half-a-year left to live as he was bound to die.

Meanwhile, the assassin who was paralyzed, couldn't do a thing before silently departing the world. The only thing that he left behind was a little johnny that stood tall due to the cold wind, even after his death.

.

A small warthog ran across the forests, it appeared panicked and insecure.

A shadow darted towards the warthog like a guided-missile with full precision. The warthog seemed to sense its inevitable doom, having no other choice it simply stopped and laid on the ground with its belly faced up.

The shadow caught up with the baby warthog in the next moment, but it seemed surprised as it looked at the warthog's reaction.

The shadow was none other than a human child. Standing on his fours, the child looked cautiously at the warthog.

The latter knew that the other party was definitely stronger, so it decided to submit to him. The baby warthog then rolled about on its belly and then even started wagging its small curly tail to show that it had submitted.

The human child didn't understand such behaviors of the warthog, in his eyes the warthog was its meal.

Without bothering, it simply took a stone and smashed it onto the warthog's head. The other party died instantly.

The human child then proceeded to drag the animal carcass into towards his den.

On his way to the den, sound of an explosion was heard from far away. Hearing this sound filled the human child with anxiety and excitement! This was because his hunt always lacked a certain level of adventure and danger and this bored the human child as he loved to seek thrill in whatever he did.

Feeling that something amazing had happened in the direction where the sound of explosion came from, the human child's curiousity dominated his fear as he sprinted like a wild wolf towards the direction of the explosion .
