Chapter 20

Jimin turned around and smiled as he saw Jungkook running towards him, smiling at him.

"Hey Jiminie." Jungkook said happily, looking at Jimin intently.

"Hey, Kookie." Jimin replied, smiling wider at how eager Jungkook was.

"I know this really great place that makes amazing udon, lets go to it. I made a reservation too."

"Sure, I can't wait. I haven't had udon in ages." Jimin answered as he started to follow Jungkook. They naturally linked hands together and Jungkook smiles at him.

They arrived at the udon place and they were seated by a waiter. They looked at the menu while chatting to each other. "Hmmm... what are you thinking of getting?" Asked Jimin.

"I don't know. It all looks really nice." Replied Jungkook.

They sat down and had another look, then the waiter came and they ordered.

Jungkook said, "I'd like some Nabeyaki Udon please."

"Make that two." Jimin added.

Waiter: "Any drinks?"

Jimin smirked and said, "Let's have a bottle of saké please."

Their food came and so did their saké and they ate together, enjoying each others company. They also drank together and they drank the whole bottle. Once they had finished, they split the bill and walked out, Jimin was slightly tipsy from all the saké but he didn't care. They walked up a bit more and then stopped, they were alone. Jungkook turned to him and grabbed both of his hands, looking straight into his eyes.

"Jimin. I know a lot has happened recently and... I know this is greedy of me but I wish I had you all to myself, I know you're worrying about what happened."

"I'm sorry, Jungkook... I can't help it. But for now, I'll give you all my attention." Jimin replied. They leaned in and kissed softly, their lips locking together smoothly, they enjoyed the familiar taste of each other. They kissed more and more and Jungkook slowly opened his eyes, smiling. However, his smile was wiped from his face in shock as he watched a small, green, circular thing roll. And that's when the grenade exploded.
