Chapter 14

Jimin and Jungkook kept walking in the forest and they stopped to admire the surroundings. Jungkook then noticed a small flash of metal; he felt a horrible feeling in his gut. Then he pinned Jimin to the ground and protected him with his body. Jungkook had very narrowly saved Jimin from getting sniped, just as Jungkook saved Jimin the bullet had whizzed past his head.

"Wh-what the hell happened?" Jimin asked, however Jungkook silenced him. Jimin then realised that he had almost been assassinated and his eyes widened with shock and fear.

"Jimin." Jungkook said very quietly, "We need to escape. And we have to be very very quick and hide ourselves as much as possible. Ready?"

Jimin nodded his head and Jungkook suddenly grabbed Jimins hand and then ran as fast as they could. Jungkook had predicted that the sniper wouldn't be dumb enough to shoot at them again and he was correct, the sniper didn't shoot them again. They ran straight out of the forest and they slowed down, panting.

"What... the hell... was that!?" Jimin exclaimed, heaving and panting.

"I... I don't know. That was far too close, though."

Jimin looked around anxiously, eyes filled with fear.

"Jimin... it's not safe for us here. Let's go." They walk to Jimins house, an awkward tension between them. They arrived at Jimins house and Jungkook hugged him tightly.

"Jimin... I was so scared for you..."

"I-I was scared too."

"Please, be safe and avoid going outside."

"Okay..." They parted ways and Jungkook went home, very worried.
