1 Going to Asteria City

An otherworldly man wearing a black robe with a mask that only his eyes and perfect jawline can be seen.

This man is Ji Zuan.

"Damn it, I was already one step away from becoming the second Eternal God yet that old thing appeared destroying my plan." Ji Zuan cursed out loud while reading the information about Earth that his father forcefully drilled inside his head.

'According to the information, there is a city called Asteria. Hmm, I just need to walk for twenty minutes then I'll reach that place.' Ji Zuan thought.

After a while, he finally saw the road and he just needs to go to the right and follow it till he reaches his destination.

Suddenly, a car behind Ji Zuan appeared driving erratically until it crashed into the trees, luckily the speed wasn't that fast.

"Hmm? So that's the vehicle inside the information huh? That's quite interesting" Ji Zuan said to himself and approached the car.

When Ji Zuan leaned through the windows, he saw a mature woman groaning from pain.

'Walking for twenty minutes is quite far especially when you're already a mortal so maybe I should save this woman and ask her to bring me to the city.' Ji Zuan thought for a while and immediately opened the door which was not locked perhaps due to the impact.

When the woman heard that the door was opened she immediately woke up from her drunk state and saw it was a man wearing a mask.

"Who are you?! Don't come here or else I'll call the police." Audrey Winston said weakly while pointing at Ji Zuan.

But Audrey instead heard a gentle voice coming from the man, "Don't worry, I just wanted to help you after seeing that you crashed into the trees."

Audrey stared at Zi Zuan doubtedly and caution she asked, "Why are you wearing a mask and a weird robe then? It's not even Halloween."

"I just descended from the mountain and this is the natural attire that we wear. Hmm, are you drunk?" Ji Zuan asked after he smells something similar to wine.

Audrey Winston stared deeply at the eyes of the man and saw that his jaw is actually looking perfect.

"Can you remove your mask?" Audrey asked while also feeling unknown, wondering why she's talking to a weird stranger.

"No. You might be afraid," Zuan replied coldly.

Ji Zuan then threw a pill to Audrey, he got it from his spatial storage.

"What's this? Is this a poison or aphrodisiac?" Audrey looked at the pill then stared at Ji Zuan.

"This can remove drowsiness and headache. Lastly, I don't have any interest in you."Zuan spoke coldly and didn't wait for Audrey to reply and immediately sat at the backseat.

"How dare you! Hey?! Why are you inside?" Audrey was triggered and shouted but she saw Ji Zuan entered the car and felt nervous wondering whether he will do something to her.

"Stop thinking useless things, I am not interested in you alright? Also, can you please bring me to Asteria City as thanks for eating my pill? Thank you." Ji Zuan coldly said and stopped talking.

Audrey wanted to slap Ji Zuan to death, also wondered her charm whether it's no longer working or not. Even though she's already twenty-four, however, she is very confident with her hourglass body and her exquisite appearance too.

"Hmph, what's your name by the way? My name is Audrey Winston." Audrey asked Zi Juan and started to drive as he felt thankful that the front side of the car wasn't that scrapped from the impact.

"Ji Zuan"

"Are you Chinese?"

"What's that?"

"Ethnicity."

"Then, nope."

"So what are you?!"

"Hey?! Why are you not talking?"

Audrey started to chatter making Ji Zuan who was meditating from the back seat exploded.

"Mortal, shut your mouth!" Zuan shouted and a burst of chilly aura enveloped Audrey making her mouth shut, well after all who wouldn't get pissed when the questions appeared one after another when you haven't answered the first question yet.

Audrey's body stiffened and looked back at Ji Zuan while her eyes are starting to water threatening to fall but when she saw Ji Zuan's cold eyes she can no longer stop it.

"Wuuu, wuuu, no one has ever *sniff* *sniff* shouted at me even my died *sniff* wuuu." Audrey cried and stop driving as her tears started to fall like a waterfall making Ji Zuan dumbfounded.

Looking at Audrey's crying face, Ji Zuan did not know what to do since all he did before was just killing and he even had barely interaction with women before.

"D-don't c-cry, i-i-am so-sorry okay?!" Ji Zuan said to Audrey while wondering, 'Did I just fucking said I'm sorry?'.

"Really?!" Audrey asked Ji Zuan.

Ji Zuan nodded while thought, "Are you really twenty-four?" but of course he did not say it and just tried to cope with a question that Audrey asked while also trying to control his patience which is getting closer and closer to explode.

And after twenty minutes of driving, they finally arrived in Asteria City. Ji Zuan was a little bit shocked since their houses are too big and too different in their universe, if he didn't wear a mask for sure he would look like a kid who was born in a barren place.
