3 Chapter 3

He opens his eyes and slowly scan his surroundings. Then, he feels pain from all over his body and let out a grunt.

"You're awake?" Li Zian enters the tent. She helped the man to sit.

After noticing that Li Zian did not harbor any bad intention, "Thank you for saving me." The man said with a hoarse voice.

Li Zian nodded and give some water for him to drink. "I'll get you some porridge so please wait a minute."

Li Zian gets out from the tent. The man removes the quilt a bit and found out that his cloth is clean and fragrant without any blood.

"Here, eats some porridge. I already cooled it. After that, drink this medicine. Your body is still burning." Li Zian puts her palm on the man's forehead and it startled the man but due to his injuries he unable to avoid her palm.

"I'm going out to hunt some chicken. I won't be long. I'll be back by lunch. You don't need to afraid about wild beast, this place is safe." After saying that Li Lian just leaves the man that look confuse unable to process her words.

His confuse look is adorable. Last night Li Zian did not saw his face properly so seeing his face that being illuminate by the sunlight, his face is very handsome. His long black hair with a tint of red couple with his phoenix eyes makes him exuded with devilish charm.

The man just nodded and Li Zian go out to catch some chicken. The man sniffs the porridge and after confirming there is no poison, he drinks the porridge with relish. After eating, the man drinks the medicine and then examine his body condition. He suffers a great internal damage. Seeing his dantian did not crush completely, he sighs with relief.

He touches his left wrist and suddenly a bracelet appears. "Luckily this bracelet is not damaged." From the bracelet he took out a bottle of pill. Then, he eats the pills before slowly guide the energy to fix his damaged meridian and dantian.

Meanwhile that, Li Zian truly goes to find some chicken. She goes towards the traps that she has prepared. After coming to level two she found out there are ordinary animal lurking at the periphery of the forest. She needs to bring back some prey before going back to the village and these ordinary animals are perfect. She has set her sight on the chickens that she saw before. The rooster is big and fierce and the hens are round and plump. Imagine eating that chicken when being cooked as fried chicken, chicken soups and roast chicken. Hmmm! So, yummy.

The sun already high in the sky, the man opens his eyes. He stretches his body a bit before going out from the tent. He sees a simple campsite beside the river. Around the campsite there is a yellow powder that prevent beast from coming close to the campsite. He breath in pure air of the forest and enjoys the sound of the forest. He did not feel any animosity in the surrounding and feels relax.

The fire has long died. The man notices this and starts gathering woods and start a fire. He also found the water pouch and boil the water. Then, he sits in front of the fire waiting for Li Zian.

Li Zian is happy, not only she caught the rooster and hens, she also found out a rabbit hole. She captures ten rabbits. Their fur is soft and shining, if it is being sold, she will get a lot of money. Her mother can dry the rabbit meat and they can have meat for several meal.

When she arrives at the campsite Li Zian quite shocked. That man already recovers? His internal injuries can render him immobile for at least nine months, how did he able to walk and boil water? Oh! He probably has a high-grade recovery pill. Hmm! That must be it.

Hearing the footsteps that man turn his head and said "You're back," with a mesmerizing smile.

The shocked Li Zian nodded, "Yes. Are you alright? How is your fever?"

The man cupped his hand towards her, "Thank you little sister for saving me. I'm fine now."

"It's great, then, you must be hungry. Wait for a while, I will slaughter the hen."

Li Zian put down the chicken cage that contain one rooster and five hens on the ground. She then tied the ten rabbits on the tree to dry out their blood before skinning them.

"By the way, what is your name, sir? I am Li."

The man sees Li Zian fluid movement arranging her preys and notices that he is not needed, "My name is Ling Min Zhe. No need to be formal you can call me by my name."

"Then, I will call you Ling." Li Zian answers is short and continue to slaughter one of the hens.

Ling Min Zhe told his real name to Li Zian is to test whether she knew about him or not. He did not know where the teleportation talisman has brought him so he needs confirmation. But, based on her reaction she did not seems to know him.

"Can I know where is this place?" Ling Min Zhe carefully asked her.

"Oh! Right now, we're at Qiqiang Mountain in the Wuzhou forest."

"Hmm?! Which part of Wuzhou forest?"

Wuzhou forest is one of the biggest forests in this world and it is connecting five continents together. But, due to the danger in the forest not many have the ability to survive in this forest. Ling Min Zhe did not know which continent he stranded in.

"We're in Xing Continent, in Country Hui. Country Hui is just a small country in this Xing Continent. It is under Yang Dynasty rule."

Ling Min Zhe is in deep thinking. Xing Continent is situated at far north of Wuzhou forest. Yang Dynasty is only level three dynasty but it is famous because it is the hometown of Yang Yun the great alchemist that manage to refine ancient pills.

"Look like I have teleport far from home. Those people probably never find me." He smiles thinking about that.

"Did you say something?" Li Zian thought that Ling Min Zhe asked her something.

"No. Let me help you with the chicken."

The lunch today is chicken soup and roast chicken. Half of the chicken is thrown in a pot to make soup and half of it is to be roasted. Eating warm food with a great scenery of forest accompanied them Ling Min Zhe feels great. Li Zian notices that the resentment level around Ling Min Zhe is reduced greatly and it is on the safe level of resentment. Even though Li Zian is curious, she did not ask anything regarding how Ling Min Zhe got hurt. As long as the resentment level did not surpass the safety level then she did not need to meddle in his life.

Li Zian is drinking her soup when she feels pain in her head. The soup bowl falls and she clutch her head. What happen? After her Jiangong body fully awaken she did not feel this kind of pain anymore.

"Xiao Li! What happen!" Ling Min Zhe hurriedly move towards Li Zian to help her but he is pushed roughly by Zhong.

"Don't touch her!" Zhong quickly embrace Li Zian and softly said to Li Zian, "Keep calm, don't panic and try to ignore the pain."

Li Zian heard Zhong's voice and take a deep breath. Then, her eyes color turns into dark purple. Her dark purple pupils are deep and cold. Ling Min Zhe shivers when he saw her eyes.

"Ha...Ha...Ha, I found you Ling Min Zhe. Let see where you can run."

Ling Min Zhe that just awake is very weak. He could only give a murderous glare towards his senior brother. Unable to fight he is captured by his senior brother and lock up in a dungeon.

"Where is that bracelet that you found in the ruins? Give it to me!"

"It chooses me as its master. Even though you get it, you will not able to use it."

"Shut up!" Ling Min Zhe's senior brother whip Ling Min Zhe until there is no intact skin on his body.

"Shut up! Shut up! Why did you get everything!? Why did master love you then me!? He always compares me with you. He gave his precious stone to you."

"I want it! I want it! Argggg!"

Panting, Ling Min Zhe's senior brother throw the whips and get out from the dungeon and shouted to his servant, "Make sure he lives."

The servant enters the dungeon and sees the bloody Ling Min Zhe. He feels scared.

"Sir, why not give the treasure? Why so stubborn?" The servant said as he gives healing pill to Ling Min Zhe and slowly wipe the blood on his body.

"What is mine will always be mine."

The servant just sighs and do his work.
