As we notice from above a demon is walking while eating what seems to be some meat paste with a disgusted look on his face. He keeps on walking while keeping an eye on the surroundings. Nearby monsters are fighting each other, some for fun, some for food, some for survival while some wish to gang up because of their weakness. The demon keeps on walking, other monsters not picking a fight with him due to his demonic pressure and presence, some are even frightened due to the smile etched onto his face. He keeps on walking until he is in front of a cave.

[Unknown POV]

I walk in a familiar direction still thinking about that awful meat paste made by that stupid demon which I HAD TO EAT because I don't like wasting food. I observe my surroundings to see different monsters fighting each other. For some reason they keep ignoring me while some are even scared to look at me.

'Concentrate James you need to think about future plans'.

I keep on walking till I am near the cave. This place has been my home ever since I came back from an expedition from another world.

How you say?

Well there are space rifts on this planet and if that wasn't enough we have continuous fighting, frequent earthquakes, rivers made of lava and demonic dodos.

The last one being the weakest in here after insects, even rabbits can kill them, I do wonder what their purpose is here.

Anyways I was stupid then, just like they say here curiosity killed the dodo, I was thrown head first Into an unknown world. That world had big buildings as they say there, a language for easy communication even between people from across the world. I was amused to see such a great place so I searched for my first pr.. I mean 'Friend'.

Not far away from the place I was spawned in I located a village area. Well truthfully it was a miserable area with stinking houses made of rags in the shape of tents. As I was observing, I saw some creature looking at me.

The creature looked terrified and pathetic to me but well I didn't care. With a friendly voice I said "Hello there". The creature looked terrified hearing my voice and just ran away yelling something I couldn't understand.

[Knov's Pov]

Why do some people have to be so poor and some get to enjoy life in big houses, I ask myself while looking at the outskirts of slum area. My family has difficulty with even the basic needs like water and food. I work to scavenge resources and also do physical labour for money but even then it is still not enough.

My wife is also looking for a job nearby, maybe then it will be a little better?

My thoughts are interrupted when a monstrosity comes into my field of vision. The creature looks demonic with goat-like horns, red eyes and a very scary smile on its face.

It seems to be observing the surrounding area, It suddenly looked at me and I flinched. Looking at me his smile becomes even more disturbing and he says "#$&$##£&$##" with a deep demonic voice. I don't know what that means nor do I try to understand, as the only thought I have is Runnnn.

I sprint at my top speed, I don't even look back to check if that demonic monstrosity is following me. I am so scared to even think about anything, my only thoughts are of concern for the safety of me and my wife. I know those rich people are not coming to help us nor those from the church. The only thing left now is to run and leave this place as quickly as possible.

[Marina's POV]

It's the same day as always, doing household chores and washing clothes. While returning I see my husband running towards our house.

'I hope it's not about money he has lost due to gambling or worse he has sold even our house. '

'I honestly don't even know how to stop him from gambling and drinking.'

Well for now at least I hurry back to our house to better understand the problem. I see him stopping near our house and sitting under a tree sweating and out of breath.

I quickly go inside and bring a glass of water for him to drink. He chugs on the glass of water like he has been in a desert from the morning. I wait untill he is done resting up and then I ask worriedly

"What happened to you Knov? Don't tell me you sold our house in a gambling game".

He looks at me in disbelief and starts muttering "we have to run, we have to run".

Confused I shake him a little, this startles him "Aaaaaaaahhhhhh don't kill me I'm just a nobody".

Frustrated I go inside and pour the glass of water on his face. This gets him back to reality as he starts to look around worried. I asked him "Knov there is no one here you can tell me what happened". He looks at me "I saw a crazy monstrosity today".

I wait for anything else but the silence is killing me.

"You drunkard so what if you saw some wierd animal today?"

"What will it benefit us in any way?".

"You scared me so much I thought it was something dangerous for us".

I am so angry I just throw the glass and walk away stomping my legs to the kitchen.

"I hate this, Why do you always have to do these stupid pranks".
