Team?

Sitting on a slab of cement in place of a porch before the front door, a young man in a black, brand-less sports hoodie with his sleeves pulled up just before the elbow, black jeans, and nice, clean white Nike High Tops. Sticking out, his hands have perfectly wrapped bandages as thin as can be, almost as if not overlapping any other layers.

This was Cas, waiting outside for it to be time to go to the Registry. When they'd told him that he'd have to come back in a week, it was the 4th of April, just after the blooming if his Cherry Trees in the backyard. Now it's the 11th, also a Thursday. Finally getting up, Cas stretches, fattens any wrinkles on his clothes and starts with steady steps.

Feeling the humidity on his face and the nice, supple wind blowing across his clothes, he feels refreshed. Closing his eyes while he walks, he crosses more distance than her perceives in the early noon, savoring the weather of a late sunrise.

Finally walking back into the Registry to find Lia, Cas found her figure sat down with two others. On her left, a girl in sweatpants and a baggy hoodie, fitting her quite well, but giving off a friendly vibe. With a flat chest, yet nice figure, she seems to be a really appealing person. Rocking dark hair and eyes, Cas would assume she's rather popular in her community.

On the other side of Lia, a man around 20 years old with stubble and medium length hair swept to the right, having a big build similar to a bodybuilder, and a lazy look on his face. Opening his eyes, no color reflects. Only tints of silver to be seen under the eyelids, yet clearly seen when moving. Definitely not blind. With headphones in his ears and the cord going into his pocket, he shifts around his seat as it's slightly too small for him.

Lia, looking up to me flashes a smile before telling us to leave with her. "Follow me."

Going after her, they stay in the same position on her sides and walk at the same relative pace.

"Time for introductions," Lia starts. "The one behind us is Cas. He has the ability to manipulate Plants, and we're hoping in the future it delves somewhere into the tree of Druid Abilities. He prefers to use the Bow and Arrow as a weapon, and wouldn't mind using daggers as a backup. His power is basically negligible currently. Though, we're willing to bet it will be a great help to any Forest/Jungle orientated task."

Waiting for the other two to acknowledge that, Lia moves forwards. The girl on the left nods towards Cas with a smile, almost like you'd do to a friend in the hallway, making him feel quite alright about how he was presented. Similarly, without showing an emotion on his face, the man with stubble looks over, a headphone in one ear and one hanging over the other, he nods in courtesy.

Lia, finally looking back and seeing us catch up from a tiny pause, starts. "To my left is Alexis." Pausing slightly, she glances at the other two and continues. "She also has an ability that allows her to Glide/Slide on hard or rough ground just like smooth ice, called Frictionless. This ability has nothing to do with friction, but the ability fits the bill. On top of that, she can float like a feather in the air, but that also makes her more vulnerable to pressure. We're still researching abilities of this type." Nodding to Alexis, she signals to her like a parent would to a child who's been waiting to play with their toys for hours on end.

Alexis, walking up a little bit with energetic steps builds up a little bit of momentum but stops, and as her body slides forward on the velvet brown carpet, it leaves sliding marks as if she forced her way through that disappear within the second. Leaning and stepping to adjust herself, she enjoys 'skating' around. Not even breaking a sweat, she steps herself leaning backwards and slowing her momentum, and eventually disabling her ability.

Cas, feeling agitation at not being able to show off his ability, takes a glance at the bigger guy, feeling a bit surprised by the expression on his face; he's raised his eyebrows! Looking at the surprise she got out of him, Cas couldn't help but feel a bit jealous. 'The man's reactions must be worth gold..' he thought.

"And finally, we have 'Brick'. I am obliged to tell you that his name is an Alias. We aren't allowed to reveal his name as that goes against our Terms and Conditions, but he may tell you for himself," she pauses, eyeing Cas and Alexis, "if he thinks well of you, of course." and then continues as if nothing happened, taking steady steps. "His Ability is Simple Demonification. From what we've reviewed and a blood sample he offered at an earlier time, he think his ability has something to do with a Basilisk. Currently though, he can only turn things within his eyesight to stone under special circumstances."

Finally, coming to what seems like a normal empty desk terminal, Lia turns towards the three and winks before walking behind the counter and fading into particles before our eyes, almost like sparks flying through the air.

Peaking over the desk on her toes, Alexis says the first thing heard from her outside of a simple greeting. "Looks like we should follow" she states curtly.

Looking cheeky, she slides around the corner and disappears with a shocked look on her face. Looking towards Brick, they nod at each other before walking about a yard in between each other, crossing the desk line and seeing white tiles lead to what seems like an upside down UFO, engraved into the floor.

Brick, stepping onto it first disappears from the bottom up looking as if he'd turned into a ghost, disappearing a second later.

Cas, knowing that this wouldn't hurt him seeing how readily they walked in, took a few steps. Stepping into the indent on the ground, Cas felt his vision blur and glanced down at his missing body, still feeling his limbs in full affect.

After his vision is overtaken by black, he 'opens' his eyes, feeling an itching all over his body he can't quite place, rapidly disappearing yet still driving him to scratch himself. Looking around, the dim lighting disappeared. Feeling sunlight cascading onto his skin, he grunted, almost not able to stop himself from moaning from such a bright light. A little later after, his clothes absorbed the heat shining down upon him, making him sweat yet feel a bliss like never before.

Looking around, all three threw a smirk his way, clearly amused at his actions. Lia, mumbling under her breathe states "makes sense.." before walking away to avoid any unnecessary questions. Moving a few feet away before we could even notice, she started to make some exaggerated hand motions towards the towering buildings in the distance.

"Welcome to Headquarters! You're the new recruits of Devil's Frontier!"

".. or something like that." Winking at us, she moves forward. She seems to be moving forward a lot. As if reading his mind, she started walking backwards effortlessly, ignoring the fact that she was in a dress-suit in scorching heat without breaking a sweat.

"Time for Orientation."

How'd you like the pacing? Too fast? Slow? I'd love to know.

Also, any superpower type ability recommendations?
