13 Necropolis

As Kaylin looked upon the clothes that Zayxin had in her hands. He couldn't help but give a quizzical look as he picked up the mask that laid on top, holding it up to inspect it closer. The mask in question was interesting, the facial expression was the same as Jestra's mask, how ever there were no star markings, nor was it white! It was a deep rich purple, no, it was a deep rich emerald green. It wouldn't stay like that though. Then he realized that it was both colors, the mask shifted between both purple and green depending on how the light hit it. Upon closer inspection, there was a hint of light blue that could enhance a person's eye color if the shade was just right, making the eyes seem brighter.

Chuckling, Kaylin asked Zayxin. "I assume I have Jestra to thank for this gift?" As he twirled the chin of the mask in upright position on his finger tip, causing the colors upon the face flash brilliantly.

"Yes Kaylin," Zayxin smiled, "now stop stalling while being inquisitive and let's get you dressed so we can take a look at Necropolis."

Kaylin nodded gently as he went to grab the garments, only to see Zayxin pull them away. Making a face and looking at Zayxin, she smiles and sticks her tongue out. This causes Kaylin to chuckle and shrug. Showing no intention to fight adjusting to stand as Zayxin appears in front up him sliding he pants on just enough to get his feet though the holes of the legs, slipping his shoes on in the process. Once she was done with that, she motioned for him to stand up as he pulled the waist of his pants up to where the clothing needed to rest. Laughing as Zayxin pounted, sticking out his tongue in retort. Offering his arms straight in front of himself, letting Zayxin get his tunic on him. As he took a step forward Zayxin gently pulled his hair out from underneath the shirt.

"Wow Kaylin, your has grown long enough that it could probably done in a tight warriors braid." Zaykin could't help but stroked his hair as he stepped away.

Smiling warmly as he looked at Zayxin. "You can have fun with that later, Dage grows impatient I assume, plus I want to stretch out by walking around."

'The Draugr people do not know the word of impatience my Prince.' Dage quipped as Kaylin walked closer to him.

"Well, I am sure you know the importance of moving with a purpose when it counts. I believe that works for right now if we need to get a lot down now." Kaylin chuckled.

'That is correct, may I ask, where you would like to start? We are in the living areas of Necropolis, but we can take an elevator to the Lord's Peak. That is where the throne is and you can walk out the door and see the sight of all of Necropolis.' Dage informed the two as their little group walked through the underground streets passing small hovels of homes that were built into the walls. It looked like they had just walked out of what could be considered a cemetery or mausoleum. Though, with this being the home of the Draugr people. That could be considered the whole place.

"That would be perfect Dage, there is more than likely a lot I can learn of Necropolis." As Kaylin had said this, he just received a notice from his system. Along with the thought. 'Where the hell did my bracers go? Not even Zayxin brought them up.'

[System Notice: Go to the throne room of Necropolis and sit on the throne to learn about the magic that makes this city in the mountain amazing. Summoning equipment is not available until ceremony of Boon Bestowment has been attended.]

The group reached an elevator that was guarded by two heavily armored Draugr. It was noticeable that they were part of the Elite Vanguard that guarded the throne and leader of the Necropolis. The trio and the two vanguard step on the elevator as a lever is flipped. Causing the elevator to rise great heights. About a quarter to a third of the way up, the whole residential area could be viewed, It was a massive sight to behold where the comings and goings of the Draugr people could be seen. Multiple elevators ranging at different heights, and some at going further down than others could be seen at far sides of the cave, the opening where the elevators stopped showed where sunlight could be seen bleeding through.

After another couple of minutes the top of the cave could be seen and then passed through a hole where the elevator passed through and came to a slow stop as it reached the end of its destination. However this is where a weird sound could be heard, looking down at his feet, Kaylin saw a stone slab slide underneath the elevator and the floor sat upon the now there floor. As that contact was made the wall in front of him slid open to the side, revealing sunlight and the throne that he was now right behind. Stepping out, the throne room could only be called majestic. Yes it was stone, but each bit of stone was carved to show character and almost a story, where other portions somehow glistened and reflected light. Allowing the light of the sun to illuminate the room with little need for torches as long as the sun was up.

The group stepped around the throne and Kaylin turned around to look at the throne from the front. Upon the wall behind where they just were, Kaylin saw a surprising scene, giant holes in the wall that could pretty much be called facets for gemstones, really BIG gemstones. And in the middle of the wall, right above the throne itself, was a golden gem with black flecks in it, pretty the same shade of black as the stone that was the Necropolis itself. Looking deeper at the gem, Kaylin couldn't help but see that the gem was pulsing softly, as if it was alive. Shaking his head, he turned to go out the door, he wanted to see the magnificence that was Necropolis on the outside.

The other side of this door way where he could look upon the where he now lived. Was a prettier landscape than he could ever imagine.
