Where everything begin

Who could have thought that the day were monster and unbelievable things would appear. He had only went outside to throw away the trash, but no, the gods had to decide to throw monster, weird creature to earth.

He shouldn't be here, wherever he is right now. He remembers nothing besides that damned trash that he was holding. He was cursing himself for not living his life properly. He listened the things the other said. They talked on what went wrong, or they were finding a reason on why those things were outside of the refuge.

Jeremy's POV

Why?

Why?

Why was this happening, the scientist never accepted the existing of monster or creature where only in books you can found and there wasn't any record on it. I was a good son, a good brother, even though I don't look like one. I never disobey his parents, ok that's a lie. I just remembered going outside of my apartment to throw away the trash and suddenly the ground was vibrating.

Our parents passed away 3 years ago in a plane accident, so it was only my sister and I. The solders said that there was none in the list with the name of Lilia Gotherny, my sister. She was currently in school when all of this happened. She is in highschool, sophomore to me more specific. Soldier Rodgers, the one who was helping for lost family members, said that my sister wasn't on the list and it's been more than an hour since the beginning of this. I'm getting more worried than I was earlier. If she doesn't appear in the next half n' hour, I will look for her myself. I know it's the military job but they won't be worried for someone the don't know of.

Right now they are calling people whose family they were looking for. I'm waiting for them to call my name.

"- Family of Jazmin Orland... Family of Marcos Gustavo... and the family of Lilia Gotherny-"

'Oo thank God shes alive'- I thought walking fast to where the Sargent was so that he could take us where our family is.

Right. Left. Right. Left. There she is. Getting treated by a medic

I ran to her. She looked at me and hugged me while crying.

"- Shh.Shh. Everything's gonna be alright-" I said to her while comforting her.

"- It almost bites-" she says sobbing

I got confused on what she was telling me.

"- What thing?-" I asked her

*- One of the creatures got inside the school and I was in P.E class so we were outside and that thing ran to us with the intention of eating us, he got J-Julia, Jeremy!, I-I-I was right there besides her, I was that monster killed my best frienddd!!-" she said sobbing louder. I was in shock. I quickly looked her body searching for any injures, but she was only with scratches and blood. I hugged her tighter so she won't be scared anymore. She is my everything, I don't know what would happen if I loose her.

"- Don't worry, ok. I'm right here with you an dim not gonna go anywhere, got it?-" I said. She only nodded.

We stayed like that for a couple of minutes until she fell asleep, I put her on her bed, where she was again checked by the medic. Another medic came and asked if I wanted to be check up.

That happened 4 hours ago, and is currently 7:30 at night. We have been here since before 3, and I don't think we are gonna get out of here soon.

The military put us in building which is 30-40 minutes away form the city who is fill with creatures. They have tv in here who is on the news channel.

"-... Mrs. President was killed by one of the monster while he was taking shelter. No one knows if this is the end of the world. The headquarters are saying that Europe is not the only country who is under monster attack, all over the world is in danger. One of the countries, China have started to eliminate the creatures by brute force as such has using bombs, tanks etc even though taking the lives of the citizens...-" the reporter said while showing us pictures of every country under the attack.

"- Oh god.. -" I whisper

This is the end for us.

At almost 10 p.m they gave us food. I wasn't at the moment to be eating so I gave it Lilia. At 11:40 the light went off and it was time to rest, as if we could even though it was silent. It wasn't that long after a loud alarm went off inside the building and the military came inside. Everyone stood up confused and tired. Minutes later the Sargent came with a worried face. Seconds later we heard a bomb not so far from here. We looked at him waiting for him to start talking.

"- Before everything I just want to say I am so sorry we can't do this-" he begin "- ...but the creatures are coming and probably will be here in no less then 5 minutes. I tried to convince the headquarters to have us back up but is was rejected...-" he said.We're were so shocked that no one made a sound until a lady with her baby in arms started to cry.

"- So we are gonna die here?!-" she said sobbing.

"- I wished it wasn't like that but it is, there is nothing we can do to protect us-' he answered.

"- But what about the kids!! is there nothing we can do to at least protect them?!-" this time was a middle age man was who asked

We looked at the Sargent for hope but that wasn't what was just a hope.

He shake his head said saying no.

We were more than 80 people.

We all are gonna die today.

We felt the building shaking, giving us a hint that the monster are just a few meter away from us. Some people start to hugged each other. The whole room was full of tears. I looked at Lilia who was crying crazy. I hugged her really tight so did she. The door was broken. I move her head so that Lilia didn't had to see them we where located almost at the back of the room who we witness the slaughter that was created by the monsters.

"- Goodbye Lili-" I said to my sister. Since I was closer to them, one of them took me first while I saw another tear my sister from my arms. Honestly it didn't hurt when he bite apart my body but what really hurt was seeing my little sister getting killed in front of me.
