It doesn't exist

I sat in the room staring at the table waiting for Mr.Richards to come with Jisoo.

"Hey look if you get fired I'll quit because i don't want to work with douchebag without you here," she said

"No you don't have to it's fine"

I heard the door open and Mr.Richards came in, he sat on the chair opposing me and sighed.

" It was your responsibility Jennie, look how many people have been killed because of you, it looks bad considering you were there covered in blood."

"I know she didn't kill them" said Jisoo

"It doesn't matter, I want to fire you so badly eve, but Miss Ellwood is particularly fond of you and is insisting for you to stay"

"Dang it I was really looking forward to calling him a-" I interrupted her by saying

"Ignore her i know I can't fix what happened but I will try my best,"

"Oh also you and Jisoo are being promoted to Englands Intellegance agency for some reason but I have no choice to do what Miss Ellwood tells me to"

"Why would we get promoted after what happened?" I said

"I don't know myself I think the answers you seek lay in a private conference you two have to attend with Miss Ellwood"

"When is the conference?"

"I have no clue I'm afraid it's Miss Ellwood she might pop up at your houses at any time to discuss it"

"Oh okay we'll get going" Jisoo said

He didn't reply as me and Jisoo walked out.

"So how are things between you and your husband?"

"He really wants me to stop investing so much time into work "

" I can see why but how will he react to what just happened?"

"He's probably going to be mad but I work here for a reason and I know my life is always in danger considering the types of cases we work on"

"That's true but I hope things turn out okay"

"Thanks but I was wondering if I could stay at yours tonight?"

"Oh why?"

"I kind of don't feel like confronting Louis today"

"That's fine, Jake is working out all night today so it'll be just us two"

"it sounds like fun"

We'd finally arrived at Jisoos house after I'd called Louis on the way here telling him I'm staying at Jisoos for the night.

Just as she was about to open the door I felt an hand on my shoulder, I turned around to see Miss Ellwood.

"Wow Richards wasn't lying when he said that you might just turn up at our house" Jisoo said

"Just like Walter to say that"

"His first name is Walter?" I said trying not to laugh

"Yeah it is everyone knows that" she replied

"Yeah Jennie the kind of do"

"Oh well anyway let's go inside"

We sat down eating some chicken Jisoo had made earlier silently until I broke the ice.

"So Miss Ellwood what was it that you wanted to talk to us about?"

"Oh please, call me Cara"

"Oh Cara what did you wanna say?" Jisoo said

"You both are probably very confused why you've been promoted and not fired after the incident especially you Jennie"

we both nodded our heads

"Well, after what had happened we had to go through your computers and files and what we found was interesting,"

"What did you find?" I said

"We found a lot of research on female assasins"

"I can explain" I replied

"yes please do"

" I had been looking through a lot of unsolved murder cases and I think it's all linked to one person, maybe something even bigger. I had told Jisoo about my research and she would help me theoritise every now and then"

"That's just what I hoped for"

"Huh?" Me and Jisoo said synced

"Well I have come to the same conclusion and I wanted to have Jennie help me lead an investigation on this and Jisoo to help with it too"

"Oh so you're our boss now?" Said jisoo

" I guess you could say that but you work for no one as this does not exist"

Me and Jisoo looked at each other confused

"What we're working on, no one else must know about, once starting this case everyone's lifes around you and yours is in danger. This also means that this teams does not exist neither does this conversation or anything moving forward to anyone on the outside looking in. Well anyway I should really get going I hope you all understand so come to work tommorow at 8am but go to room 113"

"Okay it's been good talking to you Cara" I said as I waved her off.

As soon as I heard the door shut I sighed,"Did that really just happen?"

"Let me check" she pinched herself

"Yes it's real unfortunately"

"How serious do you think she was when she said everyone around us lifes were in danger?"

"I mean there's only one way to find out and I don't think I want to"

"Jisoo, I couldn't work there without you"

"Fine I'll go but if anythings off Im quitting okay?"

"yayyy"

"Jennie you can be such a baby sometimes"

"I know" I said smiling.

"It's pretty late Jennie we should get to sleep soon"

"Yeah we should im just going to go on the computer for a sec and I'll be right up"

"Okayy"

I thought to be prepared for my new job I needed to read up on some biology stuff like where to Stab for instant kill.

Around an hour later Jisoo came down." What are you doing?"

"Oh I was just uhh" I clicked off the tabs quickly

"You were doing research weren't you?"

"Maybe I was"

"I don't think Louis doesn't have a reason not to be worried"

"What?"

"You're overworking yourself Jennie, you should get some time to rest every now and then"

"I do"

"Tell me the last time you went to a party"

"Uhhh..."

"Exactly, look it's late we should go to sleep okay?"

"Okay..."
