Plans

Jasper sat in a car having just been released from the hospital. He had figured out he had transmigrated to this world and knew the previous owner of this body had an accident. If not for him being transmigrated in the body then they would be dead. Iconically enough the previous owner of this body had the same name as him although those around him called him young master.

This form of address was hard for him to adjust to. Jasper also now had a last name, which in his previous life he didn't have one. His full name now was Jasper Irumi, which he didn't mind but it was hard to adjust to being called, young master.

Before this Jasper had no family and had only ever been called Jasper or your majesty when he was king.

He was also unused to feeling so weak. He was in pain constantly but he knew this was due to that so-called 'accident'. He had the memories of the previous owner and knew what caused that 'accident'. It was no accident he knew that for sure but didn't know who could have caused it. The body's previous owner had been pushed in front of a bus by someone in a hoodie; because of this he told no one.

He wanted to get his revenge himself but first he needed to heal up and find out who it was that pushed them. It would take at least a month to fully heal at least by what he could tell about his new body. He figured he would start to train to get stronger after he healed before finding who pushed him. Jasper hated this feeling of being so weak and unable to even fight or kill.

From the memories of the previous owner he had never once trained in his life. Which in Jaspers opinion was stupid because of the state of this world. A world of constant wars where only the strong could live was not a world to be weak in. From his understanding there were safe cities for weak people, like the one he was now living in, but for the son of a city ruler it was unacceptable to be weak.

He was supposed to become the leader of this city's army before he became the city leader but was far too weak. Jasper had also learned from the memories that soon he was supposed to join this city's army and fight and the only reason he hadn't yet was due to this body's grandfather. He didn't mind going onto a battlefield but as weak as he was currently he would merely be a sheep going to slaughter.

Before he went to battle he would get at least strong enough not to die. Though before that he needed to heal which was boring to him but he didn't want to be in so much pain anymore. He was familiar with pain due to his previous life's constant fighting and killing but he disliked pain and it slowed him down. It had also been far too long since he had experienced pain. Even when he was killed in his previous life, he had felt no pain.

Jasper snapped out of his thoughts as the car he sat in came to a stop in front of a mansion. He unbuckled and before the two men who he first saw when he woke in this world and, who constantly followed him could do anything he opened the door and exited the car. The two men were supposed to be his bodyguards appointed by his grandfather but they acted more like servants or babysitters trying to do everything for him.

Jasper stood using the car door as a crutch while he looked around at the large white mansion with the manicured gardens. The two guards whom he knew were called, Ryan and Jeff got his crutches out of the car and gave them to him. Jasper nodded slightly to them and used the crutches to head for the door of the mansion. In his previous life he would have never accepted their help but as the previous owners feeling towards the two men as brothers, he accepted it. He didn't want to admit it was because he was far too weak to get along on his own.

Jeff and Ryan followed right behind him to help with anything he needed. Jasper could see the concern in the two men's eyes and it was starting to irritate him. That concern was all he had seen in their eyes since he woken in the hospital a month ago. It made him feel uncomfortable, he had never been given such looks before but he also knew he could do nothing about it. He was too weak so he could only hold himself back from snapping out at them.

Jasper stopped as he heard a dog barking and looked around. He soon saw a large black and brown dog running towards him barking. He stood watching it coldly a glint of murder flashing in his eyes. He then suddenly looked at Jeff and Ryan who had stepped in front of him putting themselves between himself and the dog in a protective manner. He knew the previous owner had been scared of dogs and just about everything else but he found this ridiculous.

Jasper sighed and spoke, "Just leave it. It's just a mutt." He then started to make his way to the front door of the mansion.

He made his way calmly even as the two men were flabbergasted by his reaction. Even the dog had stopped barking and looked at him. He ignored them as he went to the door. Jasper made it to the door and opened the door making the two men snap out of their daze and ran over to help.

Jasper bit his lip to prevent himself from yelling obscenities at them. He knew the previous owner had been scared of just about everything but these two men had been too overprotective and indulgent of the previous owner of his body.

He went inside the house and glanced around. He stood there in the doorway for a while needing a break. He hated being so weak that only a short walk on crutches had tired him out. He caught his next wind and was about to head for the room he was to stay in. He could recall from the memories of the previous owner it was his room.

He looked over to a man calling out to him saying to him, "Young Master, Master requests your presence in his study." Jasper nodded, "ok I'll follow your lead then"

Jasper then started to follow the well groomed older looking man. In his previous life he had never really taken someone's looks to be their real age as few truly looked their age. This included himself in the past he had been thousands of years old yet only looked to be in his late twenties but now it was different.

He was now almost sixteen and was so much weaker. He found it so infuriating to be so weak. He also found it odd to be so young again although in his previous life he had never really known his real age since he had been abandoned and grew up on the streets. Though he now looked his age. He also knew most looked close to their real age in this world from the memories of the previous owner. Even though they had rarely gone outside or done anything they still knew this.

He followed the man trying to keep up using his crutches but was falling behind. He knew the master was this body's father but from what he understood they weren't close. He didn't know how he was to handle 'his father' and figured to just do whatever seemed to be the right thing at the time.

This would be the first time he would be seeing the man as he hadn't even come to see him while he was in the hospital. This didn't bother him so much as his 'grandfather'.

That old man was full of affection and caring that Jasper couldn't handle it all. That first meeting had been disastrous and had made his grandfather demand the doctors do several tests before the doctors said his strange behavior was due to the accident and they couldn't do anything about it. His grandfather had then left in tears only to come back everyday he could while Jasper was in the hospital. It was to the point Jasper had tried hiding from his grandfather.

Jasper reached the door of the study as the man he had followed opened the doors. He stood there a moment to catch some wind in his lungs before entering the study. He looked around the study before his gaze fell upon the large man sitting behind the heavy wooden desk.

The man gave off an intimidating aura that would make most anyone think twice before doing anything. But to Jasper, the man's aura was easy to dismiss as in his previous life he had seen many men and women who had far more oppressing auras. Although in this life he stood no chance against this man before him so he knew not to cause any trouble.

He nodded softly to the man before sitting down in one of the nearby chairs not wanting to stand a moment more. He saw the man raise an eyebrow at his behavior but spoke after a moment.

"Jasper, in three months you'll be going to the army. You must earn your weight in the military. I know you just got out of the hospital but this has been planned for a long time and nothing can or will stop it. I hope you will do well for our family name. Of course you'll be going to boot camp for a month before you'll be going to the frontlines, per your grandfather's request. So prepare yourself."

Jasper stared at his father murder flashing in his eyes but he quickly squashed his need for killing the man in front of him. He now had an idea of who tried to kill the previous owner of his body though. He took a moment to calm himself before he replied.

"Of course, I'll be ready father." His father spoke, "Good now to other business; I heard from your grandfather you've suffered head trauma and are behaving differently. As this is the case I will remind you to mind your manners."

"Of course" Jasper was really tempted to kill the man before him but knew it was too soon to make a move as he was too weak. "Good. Now go back to your room and rest"

Jasper nodded and stood grabbing his crutches. He then headed out of the study without any help and headed for his room for some well deserved rest in his opinion. He had held back and hadn't killed anyone since he had woken up in this world. For him, this was a feat indeed as he had so many opportunities and annoyances that tempted him to kill, but he was too weak to carry out any killings.

He made it to his room and entered closing the door in the faces of Jeff and Ryan. He huffed out a breath before going to the bed and sitting on it and setting his crutches next to the bed. His face then became one of pure murderous intent.

It seemed he would only have two months of training if his luck was good before he was thrown into the middle of a battle. He didn't mind being thrown into a battle but as weak as he was and injured at that. Even if he was stronger or in his previous life he would still have issues. This really made him want to go on a killing spree but for now he couldn't.

In the study Jaspers father sat his hands folded deep in thought. He had been silent since Jasper had left his office. His eyes held a complex emotion in them as he looked down at his desk. He finally looked up to look at the older man who had brought Jasper into the study.

"Charles.. This new change in Jasper.. Do you think it is a good thing? That look he gave me after I told him about our arrangements.. it was a murder filled look. It really looked like he wanted to kill me. It was only for an instant but… this change.. I don't know if it is a good thing. Could he know?"

Charles spoke, "Master John.. I believe this could be a good change. He doesn't seem to cower in fear of you anymore and doesn't seem to want any help from others. I think this will keep him alive in battle. But it could be problematic for your future plans. But it could also mean he won't have any issues with your plans"

John sighed. "True it'll help him survive battle but I can't help but worry. What if this change is only temporary and after he fully heals he'll be back to his cowardly existence?"

"I don't know Master John, but we can only watch and hope for the best"

John sighed and rubbed his face in deep contemplation. He cared for his son's health but could only be tough with Jasper due to his grandfather's doting on him. He really felt so frustrated especially since his son had always seemed to be terrified of him. It really made him want to cry at times but at the same time it made it easier for him to make his plans.
