Jaemin and Y/N have been friends for a while. They were always seen with each other, but what they didn't know was that they both shared the same feeling. But how could they say something to each other if they are too scared to lose each other?

Y/N POV

Jaemin and I were strolling down the mall looking for things that would interest either one of us. We were so bored being all cooped up in our shared apartment all day.

People may think that its weird to live in an apartment with a person of the opposite gender, but for me and Jaemin it was different. We've known each other for so long I don't know when we were ever apart. We were always there when we needed each other. We helped each other through everything, and I don't know what I would do with out him. We were in the part of the friendship where people would always think that we were dating, but we would always dismiss it and tell them we were just friends.

But do I really want to be just friends Na Jaemin?

Jaemin's POV

We were walking through the mall when I looked at Y/N she/ he was so deep into thought that she was about to bump into a pole.

"Y/n are you Okay? You wanna head back home?" I said

" No I'm fine just thinking about some stuff. Just the normal." She said

" Well if you need to talk-"

" Jaemin look at that store. You love photography so we should check it out." She said

I was certain that she was not herself and there was something bothering her/him. She/ he was about the grab my hand but she/he hesitated and just ran away to the store.

Wonder whats going on with her/him?

We entered the store and there were so many decorations. All of the cameras lined up and everything. I should really go to this store more often.

I was looking around the store to find Y/N since she/he had ran off without me. I was turning my head every direction when I saw her, but she/he was being bothered by other people.

"Hey babe, what are you looking at. You ran off without waiting up for me." I said

I turned towards her/ him I could tell that her/his checks were heating up and turning red.

How cute

"If you guys don't mind my girlfriend and I are gonna head out. Next time pal maybe you should change your standards she/he is way out of your league. You guys have a great day." I said. I heard Y/N giggle. How that giggle makes me too happy, I don't know how you do it Y/N.

Are we really just friends Y/N?

No one's POV

As they were heading to the exit of the mall Jaemin got a call from one of his friends.

"Hey Jaemin I'm having a party later on the night. You and Y/n should come. Make sure you guys dress nicely." Renjun said

" Okay yeah we're down." Jaemin said. As Renjun was about the answer Y/n snatched Jaemins phone.

"Renjun we'll be there and we will look our best. Bye see you later." Y/N said.

With that they both went back to their shared apartment.

Y/N's POV

Renjun was having a party and Jaemin and I had to get ready for it. I wore a red spaghetti strapped dress with one of Jaemins denim jacket. Jaemin was wearing ripped jeans with a white shirt and a leather jacket. We both looked really good, but I had to fix my hair I looked like a wet dog. Jaemin on the other hand didn't even have to bother, his hair was already looking good.

Why are you like this Jaemin.

I reached for my straightener and plugged it in. After a couple seconds I began to straighten my hair, but I couldn't get the hairs on the back of my head. Damn you short arms.

"Hey Jaemin can you help me with something." I said

I heard fast moving footsteps and he barged right into my restroom.

"Yeah what's up?" Jaemin said

"Can you help me straighten the back part of my hair I can't really reach it." I said

"Yeah sure shorty anything for you." He said

I don't know why but at that moment I began to turn the same color as my dress.

No one's POV

Jaemin began to straighten Y/N hair. It was going great when

" Ahh" Jaemin said

Y/N tuned around and grabbed the straightener from Jaemin and saw him holding his hand.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Y/N said

" I combed through your hair and I forgot I used the straightener on that part and I burned myself." Jaemin said

Y/N put Jaemins hands under the sink and ran the cold water.

Jaemin's POV

As Y/N put my hand underneath the sink I couldn't help but look at her mesmerized by the beauty she/he held. I was lucky to have her/him, and I wouldn't trade anything in this world for her/him.

I couldn't help it I just put my hand on her cheek and made her look at me. I moved closer, and kissed her. I've been waiting for this moment since forever and now that I'm doing it, it was nothing I ever imagined, cause it was so much better. I let go of her face, and looked straight into her eyes

" If that was recorded on a camera I would rewind it over and over again just to see you look at me like this again and again." I said

Y/N let out a little giggle

" Na Jaemin why are you so cheesy." She/he said

I let out a little giggle and kissed her again. This time she/he was pinned on the wall with both my arms locking her in place.

"Jaemin, we have a party to go to. You don't want an angry Renjun at our door now do you?" She/he said

" Its fine just tell Renjun I burned myself." I said

With that we smiled at each other.
