16 Chapter 16

"Hey" he gave me a small smile and I rolled my eyes at me, standing up from the couch. I grabbed the empty pizza boxes and walked to the kitchen, dropping the boxes into the trash can.

"Jade? Um-I got you something?" he stuttered and I sighed as I walked towards the stairs.

"C ‘mon Jade. At least have dinner with me" I stopped and turned around to face him, crossing my arms against my chest.

"If you’re hoping for a repeat of what happened last night then you are seriously demented. It was a mistake that will not happen again"

"I want us to be civil, okay? No tricks" he held his hand in surrender and held up a familiar bag causing my eyes to widen and my mouth watered.

"You brought Suya?"

"Yeah, I was hoping we could talk and maybe clear some shit up" he had the decency to look embarrassed at least.

‘Good’ I thought to myself before walking down the stairs. Zeus ran towards him and started barking at the bag in his hands making me laugh.
