14 Chapter 14

"I’ll call you" I told Jide after I stood in front of my gates with ‘Zeus’ –Jide’s idea and a bag that held all of the necessities that Zeus would need.

"Go in, babe. Sweet dreams" he nudged his head towards the direction of the house and I walked into the house. I noticed the car that Michael drove to office in front of the house and I placed Zeus on the ground. He sniffed around, probably trying to get used to the scent and I walked towards the house with Zeus walking in between my legs for some reason.

"The beast is home, Zeus. We have to keep it down" I whispered and pushed the doors open and tiptoed into the house. Zeus seemed to understand that I didn’t want any noise so he didn’t bark and he didn’t run.

"Good boy" I whispered and we had reached the stairs when I heard him call my name.

"Jade. Where the hell were you? Do you know when I came home?" I assume that he didn’t see zeus since he didn’t scream.

"Uh…I needed a few things so I we-" Zeus barked, interrupting me
