10 Chapter 10

"Jade..." He said my name and nothing else. He looked like he wanted to say more but the truth was that I hated him even more than I used to.

"Why?" I asked the one question that could possibly give me answers to everything.

"What are you talking about?"

"Fuck you" I hissed and was about to walk out when he pulled me back by my arm again.

"Stop fucking pulling my arm, asshole!" I yelled unconsciously and he just looked different, almost sober.

"It’s Babajide, isn't it?" His minty breath hit my face as I looked up at him and I just couldn't look away, maybe because I had pegged him as a bad person.

'He is a bad person isn't he?' I thought to myself.

"Why do you care?"

"Because you're my wife"

"I'm your wife and you never answered me when I ask you about Esther and all those other girls you brought into our room –the girls you fucked in our bed– did you?" I asked him and he licked his lips. They were darker than Jide's lips, only fuller.
