Chapter 1

The haunting sound of howls , growls and roars ranged in my head as I tried to wave it off but the more I tried the more it seemed to be overwhelming forcing me out of my sleep but not without a jead ace which made my vision blur for a few seconds before being able to gain control of them . I raised my head up and realized that I was still in my class room with a teacher who I'm sure had noticed me sleeping " not sleeping in the night make people to be as lazy as our friend jaden is " Mr Phil who is our magic teacher said with a smile of mockery I still had to pretend not to hear him and concentrated on a book that was in front of me " no sign of spell casting , no beast form I'll give you one advice just drop out of school coz you're doing yourself no good " Mr Phil said before the bell for the last period was ranged and what Mr Phil said was quite right but couldn't follow his words . I didn't have a shifting form and was having problems casting spells which made me vunrable to insults from teachers and also bully's. " I'll master it one day don't worry " I replied with a smile walking away from him because I seriously needed to . walking out of my class I could see some children of my age shifting form into their different beast while I walked home alone without any friend to follow me . many humans are born with shift form which allows them to take the form of soul animals

I walked into a noisy market which was quite in my ear's while I walked towards my mother stall to take a few things before heading home but no one was there I tried asking around but the answers I got indicated that my mother ran home a few minutes ago fear gripped me as I took to my heels aiming at my home which was at a mountain side

I ran through the Rocky terrain more agile than I've ever done just to get to my destination . on getting home I realized the front door was left open I slowly brought out a knife that was tied to a long rope ready to take action, although I was not good in the magic aspect I was not a novice when it comes to physical combat. Pushing the door slowly I got a glimpse of what was inside which was two strangers standing close to my mom and dad who were sitting down I heaved a sigh of relief but didn't let my guard down " oh the young Lord is back " one of them who was dressed as a Knight or I'll say a guard said bowing his head " I think you got the wrong person " I blurted out knowing myself as a normal weakling and not a lord to be bowed to " he's right young lord " my mom said also joining the bow putting me in a state of confusion as I could feel sweat rolling down down my back which was accompanied with a daze which made stagger a little but quickly regained myself back " please give us a minute with the young Lord " my mother said in a pleading tone before the two guards walked out of the room " OK can someone please tell me what is going on here " I managed to ask after getting my voice back " you are the grandson of the silver empress which makes you a young Lord " my dad said with his face to the ground that instant I felt like I was hit by a very strong cannon the silver empress is one of the strongest and influential force in the world and no one dared her and now I'm being told that she is my grandmother I didn't know whether to be happy or sad " and you are her children right ?
