8 Chapter 8- So it begins...

[A/N: I just want to drop this message, because of a lot of people's suggestions I am going to continue with calling Dante's abilities manipulation, not magic. And another reminder, I don't want to do too much research into everything like the right time, and age of characters. Of course, I won't make a child an old man but I won't be accurate neither I can guarantee an accurate timeline but I will try working through the arcs, and some changes please bear with me. Thank you]

It has been two years since the bear family started living with Dante in his safe zone, he realized that this bear understood as time passed that this place is safe and shifted here. More like they entered without permission, but Dante didn't say anything because he enjoyed their company, and because of his daily injection of Ki in them they have become more intelligent and stronger. The mother bear grew up to 12 meters, and it seems she is the top predator on this island which is good for me for two reasons, first because she brings back food for him to cook, and second she helps him train.

Although now he can easily defeat the bear with his restriction, it still helps him train his combat efficiency because strength-wise is quite strong. While his natural abilities have grown too, but the most that has increased is his physique and energy reserves which include Magic and Ki. Ki was difficult to accumulate even now it is less in quantity than Magic but that is because a good portion of Ki that he absorbs and refines is absorbed by his body which is not a bad thing because his body's strength and quality have improved a lot. Dante has worked a lot on skills with his ki but most of them are physical enhancement which is more efficient than when he uses magic to enhance his body.

Dante has also learned to increase his senses with Ki, all the while his natural senses have grown a lot, especially with his training to obtain haki, which he couldn't. Which to Dante's guess is because of natural law in this world. But it did help in honing his senses further and faster, now he can sense 50 meters around passively and can go up to 140 meters when enhanced with Ki, but recently Dante has discovered a rotation pattern in his body with Ki which seems to refine Ki faster and better, which also improve his physique which of course include strength, speed, dexterity, and perception (senses). But this discovery wasn't accidental it was like an instinct which he attributes towards his sage's wisdom which he thinks is still assimilating with his body and soul, but over these two years there has been a qualitative and quantitative improvement in his abilities and intelligence due to sage's wisdom and on top of that he has been practicing with his abilities even more.

Dante just got up from his bed after thinking of all the improvements he made, he can feel as his body matures his improvement speed has increased instead of decreasing, which can either attributed to his race as a god or his Monkey King's physique both are amazing. He can feel the increase gravity and resistance on his body, right now he can easily maintain 27 times gravity and 20 times resistance. Although he can increase gravity up to 50 times under which even he has trouble moving properly, he does some light exercise in his highest gravity at the start and then gives his body time to heal which now has increased by a lot, after that under a manageable gravity and resistance increase the does the daily workout he has added few more things his workout to add muscles to certain parts of his body.

As for techniques, Dante has entered master level with his martial arts which counter hardness with softness, which he has named 'Gentle Fist'. (A/N: I know not the original name but please understand I had no idea what to name it. ) All the while he has comprehended and practices the fighting style of brute force till the advanced level, which he named 'Rock Bearing Fist', in the level of attack it has the highest capability but gentle fist has amazing defense and good attack. When it came to the sword, Dante didn't have any technique and he didn't want to get used to bad habits, so he stuck to basics with a thousand swings in different directions each with his restriction.

Now that Dante thinks about it, he hasn't advanced a lot in terms of magic. Meaning he has mastered any type of magic, although he has a large amount of magic, in fact, his ability to manipulate energy has increased to quite a large degree to which he can manipulate magic energy around him. Although, the manipulation outside his body isn't significant yet he knows that once it grows it can be very effective, he can strengthen his magic attack by combining it with magic power from outside. But Dante has decided that soon he will leave this island because he has worked for these past years to improve his physical strength which he has, now he can easily break boulders with his fist while his speed has increased to the point where you can barely see his figure with naked eyes, of course from an average person's point of view.

Dante quickly completes his morning chores and exits the cottage. Upon exiting, the first thing he sees is the mother bear carrying a large animal body inside the safe zone, "So, you brought our breakfast, that is quite early. Keep it there, today I will start looking for ways to exit this island." said Dante to the mother bear. Hearing which four bears came running towards him and jumped around him to latch on to him, but he simply dodges them, "I have told you this many times before, I have to go outside. I can't stay here forever. You four have grown quite a bit, except for you Deji" said Dante while pointing towards the smallest one of the four bears.

Dante has given names to these four bears, which are Deji, Meji, Neji, and Leji, of course, his naming sense sucks but he had to name them to differentiate between them. And thanks to their daily nourishment from childhood with Ki their intelligence was even above their mother's, this way they reacted well to their given name. Dante felt that instead of naming the mother bear, he would call her mother bear, not to mention he couldn't rhyme more names. In fact, Dante could see slight mutation in these four, but the one with the most mutation was Deji because his height didn't grow much, he didn't even properly reach one meter but what's more, this guy can increase his height.

But even then when Deji is compared to his siblings he is still lacking unless he increases his height but that is a lot harder. So, he stays in a form of 150 centimeters which looks cute in its own right but Dante thinks he is bullied a little, which of course he can't tell properly because he has to learn the bear language for that. Anyhow, Dante plans to look for ways he can leave this island, he still has no idea how and where he can go, which is why is planning to look for ways today. If he finds nothing, then he plans to use Ki to walk on water, although he can fly for now he can't maintain flight with Ki for long, which is also thanks to his hyper regeneration that recovers his exhaustion of Ki energy all while flying but if he increases his speed or altitude he can't maintain that for more than 5 minutes.

Dante quickly prepares breakfast for himself and the bear family, which was quite amusing to Dante at first because one day Deji came beside him while he was eating and took food from his portion which made it so that the other four joined him too. Slowly they started enjoyed cooked food over raw food, in fact, the same Deji has been going out with him when he goes out to explore, because of his size he just sticks to Dante's back, although Dante has been training Deji to look for how strong he can become as he has the biggest change in intelligence and genetics. So, although he is quite close to the whole bear family, he has spent most of his last two years with Deji while exploring and training, not to mention he has started to copy some of my movements like using hands to hold things and eat, walking. This brings me to his arms which are longer than bears, it almost seems as Deji is a mixer of a monkey and bear.

After finishing breakfast, Dante gets ready to head out while he gives his stuff to Deji to carry because his back is occupied by him. As for the sword, Dante doesn't need it anymore because five months ago he suddenly felt his connection with the blade of tathagata during his training with the sword, so he spent three weeks trying to summon and he did. The most surprising thing is that this blade adjusted itself to a usable size for him. Although Dante can't completely use the blade's power, he can still teleport his attack to the visible range but the strength of the attack weakens as the distance of his attack increases. Dante has gotten quite used to this blade, and the best part is that he doesn't have to carry it everywhere he can just simply summon it and send it back, as for the robe and the cane he can feel a slight connection but nothing significant.

Dante has come up with a lot of combinations in a fight with the blade but he feels that there is still a lot of potentials for him to explore as imagine slicing a blade in front of the enemy but the attack lands from the back or above or below. He can easily slice a tree 30 to 40 meters away from it, beyond that the attacks keep getting more shallow. Enough of that, Dante always likes to clear his mind and increase his awareness when he exits the safe zone because even though there are no dangers on this island he still wants to make it a habit for future adventures.

Dante has been traveling around the island in hopes of anything like a wrecked ship or something that can tell him in which direction he can go because he wants to go to Fiore, not any other place. Dante has been looking around for a couple of hours now, he has slowly reached the shore while increasing the diameter of the search radius after every successful round of the island. He is quite disappointed because if he doesn't find anything he would either have to make something like a raft himself or use other means to travel. The problem is that if he uses Ki to fly it would attract attention if some power magician or organization saw that, the only thing he could do if he can't make a proper raft, is to walk over the surface of the ocean. Which can be dangerous and tiring at the same time, that is why he is so desperate to look for something.

Dante is still walking around in his thought, when suddenly Deji jumps off his back and runs in a direction while gesturing to him to follow, first Dante was confused but soon he sees where Deji is running to and opens his eyes wide in surprise. Dante quickly runs past Deji and reaches the shore where a figure is lying there, seeing this figure Dante can't help but feel excitement and happiness because this figure is of a small child from nine to ten years old, who is wearing worn-out clothes. While the face and body are covered in wounds, Dante just needs one feature of the child to understand who this is, "So it has finally begun, what luck!" exclaimed Dante in his mind, because this person...
