16 Long Trip

We went there and sat beside each other .Our parents were making gossips and drinking tea .Both the boys were playing .

We felt so good to see the family together .

"Let's talk to them " said Ava .

"Ok "

And we put their attentions towards us .

"Mom and dad ,Uncle and aunt we have decided something " I replied.

"What have you decided " asked my dad .

"We have decided to go to a trip "

"Trip "asked Jacob

"But we are back from the trip "

"Come on Jacob ,it was a picnic trip at all " Ava replied .

"Then which trip do you want "

"We want a long trip .As you all know that it is our summer vacations so we want to go to far off places "

"Ok it's a good idea. We will plan for it ."replied Ava's father .

"Dad what was your idea ?"

"Ya it was that we should arrange some party for family before monsoon "

"Monsoon " I replied .

"Yes ,Allice as you know that we live in forest so in summer one or two months are fixed for monsoon "

"So we should leave early ,It is danger here now ."

"Danger .Which type of danger ?"

"Allice meant that if weather forecast is telling about monsoon season then there can be the danger of floods here in the woods "Ava replied staring at me angrily .

"Ya I ,meant the same "

"Ok Dad you don't need to arrange any party .We will enjoy much going somewhere "

"Ok then we should go to the northern areas in mountains and valleys "replied my mother .

"Yes , it's a good idea mother " Replied Ava .

"I think that we should leave before the weather becomes unsettled ." replied my father .

"But why Dad ?" Asked Jacob .

"My son ,Because it will start raining, hailing and landsliding this time in that area ."

"Yes and if landsliding started then we will not be able to go because it will remain for long period "

"Ok Allice check the weather forecast " Replied my mother .

I checked the weather forecast and replied "it says that the monsoon rain will start from Wednesday"

"Wednesday ? "Replied Ava "and today is Sunday "

"Oh no ! it means that we should leave tomorrow " replied Leo .

"But how we will arrange everything all of a sudden " Asked Jacob .

"And yes what about our offices ?" Asked Ava's dad .

"Oh! come on Dad you can take holidays for us "

"Ok but tomorrow "

"Yes tomorrow " Replied Ava . "It's still afternoon .We have much time and full night for packing .Come on let's go "

And we all went for packing . It was so fun .Me and Allice packed every type of seasonal clothes . It was late night and we were still packing and suddenly the light went off .Ava had brought all the stuff to my house and we were together .

"Oh no now how will we pack "Asked Jacob .

"Don't worry "said my mother and turned the torch .

And we again started our packing .

"Allice we should pack our book too."said Ava .

"Yes we will read it there ."

"Mom what is dad doing " I asked .

"He is with Ava's father oiling the wheels of car "

"Oh Ok "I replied

"Allice have you ever went for such a long trip ?" Ava asked .

"No we just travelled some places .I have heard that you travelled a lot ?"

" Yes ,you know what ,road journeys have always fascinated me. I had been on many road trips with my family. On such journeys, I always took the window seat to have a view of the trees, green fields, roads and other interesting things that came along the way. I loved the fact that these journeys gave me the chance to be with my family and chat with them for hours"

"Oh I am also excited . I think I am lucky to have been blessed with some very good friends who are super fun to be around"

"Yes and I think I am one of them "

"Yes it is "I replied .

"Come on Ava it is late enough .Let's go to sleep ."said Leo.

"Ok so I am going home .We will meet tomorrow ."

And they both went to their house .

While I was going to my room something strange happened .
