1 Ivy Inna

14 years later...

The Ivy family is a family that is hated by the local villagers because that's why the mansion is on the outskirts of the village and far from the local people.

On Saturday at 7 am the whole family will gather in the dining room for breakfast together. "Morning daddy," Inna hugged from behind when her dad came into the dining room.

The father then returned the hug by carrying Inna on his back, "OOh... You are very heavy, Inna." The father walked slowly with a face like it was about to explode.

"Morning mom," Jess greeted.

"Morning too, children." The mother set the dishes on the dining table.

"Morning, ma'am. Morning too, brother," Shain and Hyo greeted simultaneously.

Hyo rubbed his eyes and when he saw Inna being carried he immediately pulled Inna to take turns with him. However, Inna didn't want to come down and an argument broke out between the two. Jess took a glass cup and dropped it on the floor until it broke.

With a confused face, Inna went to the cake shop which will be opening soon. She wore a black blazer to match her black but slightly purplish hair. During the trip, she kept thinking about his family who suddenly quieted down in the dining room without realizing she had arrived at the cake shop.

"I bought this cake," Inna pointed at a chocolate cake with a rose decoration on top.

"Fine, sorry, is your name Inna?" asked the cake seller.

"This is the cake, yesterday someone ordered it, he said, for Inna." The cake seller gave Inna's ordered cake.

"Ahh... Thank you." Inna left the shop.

She looked around and then headed to a bus stop close to the shop. Inna sat down and she suddenly felt something strange, the strangeness intensified when she saw a sign that read 'Welcome to the Deffics barber shop' and the word 'Deffics' surprised her and she even screamed.

Inna shook her head to wake her up, and not long after a girl dressed in a brown dress appeared. The girl also brought her small dog which had been put on a leash so it wouldn't run away.

"Can we sit beside you?" she asked.

"Please,"

"Are you also waiting for the 709 bus? The bus that goes to Fortuna school,"

"No, I-"

Suddenly Inna was at the village security post. Inna immediately screamed again, as a result of that scream earlier the villagers headed straight to the security post.

When they saw Inna who came from the Ivy family because of her distinctive hair color they immediately took her to the center of the village and then tied her to a wooden stake along with the cake she brought.

The head of the village said that they don't like witches. If any witch enters their village then they will burn her alive. The head of the village lights the torch and then asks the residents to douse Inna with kerosene, just before they douse it Inna suddenly disappears and reappears in front of her mansion.

"Huff I am escaping... This is not the time to sigh in relief. What happened to me?"

Then Inna opened the door of her mansion and found her father in front of her, her father wearing the pendant that Inna had asked for before. Inna immediately hugged her father and thanked him for the gift then...

"Go! I don't need a useless kid like you!" The father pushed Inna out of the mansion.

"Father?"

"Inna, why were you born? I'm so sorry that I gave birth to you, go! We don't need girls who can only ask! YOU ARE NOT MY DAUGHTER ANYMORE!" snapped the mother.

Her three older siblings also kicked Inna out. They only behaved well because their father told them to, so it wasn't because they were purely good to Inna.

With a shocked and sad face that even her eyes were filled with tears because she couldn't believe what had just happened,

The father approached Inna and slapped her to the ground to convince Inna that they kicked her out of there. Inna still can't believe what happened. She asks them what happened in her absence but there is no answer.

Jess gives Inna a ticket to go to Fortuna school so they don't see Inna once and for all, but Inna refuses. She still wants to live with her family even though she will experience violence or humiliation from her own family.

Seeing how stubborn Inna was, Mother took out a kitchen knife that she had hidden. She grabbed Inna's hair and then cut it not only that she also injured her left cheek, with an evil smile she said,

"You stupid child!"

They all entered the mansion leaving Inna silent with tears streaming down her cheeks. Inna collected her hair which was cut by her mother before she left there, not forgetting to pick up the ticket dropped by Jess—her brother.

"The cake is ruined, I... I'll be back! Will come back and uncover what made father, mother and brothers change." Inna wiped her tears and then went to the address stated on the ticket.

Inna walked away to the place she was referring to and she met again with the girl she had met in Deffics. The girl approached Inna to ask where she was at the bus stop, Inna only cried loudly to make the girl panic, she tried to calm her down with her dog. When she cries her hair grows back.

Not long after Inna left, Midnight Shadow appeared at Ivy's mansion. She glared at the weeping Ivy family in front of the mansion, noticing Shadow appearing they immediately drew their wands to fight her.

"She will be fine at Fortuna's school," said her mother, relieved.

"Your lives... End here!"
