Anicens

Do you believe? We live side by side with many things. Whether it's visible or not. Some people may not be comfortable with those things. But surely there are still those who value the existence of 'them'. As far as anything goes, as far as anything avoids, 'they' are around us. They look like us, but different. Who?

Yes, 'they'.

That night was warm. But sometimes the wind overtaking coldly, piercing the neck till the bone, making the goosebumps. Wendy, this 16-year-old girl, is just throwing trash in a large dump next to her house. It's a dead-end alley that isn't too wide and only has one light at the mouth of the alley. That's the time when Wendy met with 'him' who was swallowed by darkness.

Honestly, Wendy didn't like it, but she didn't hate it either. Therefore, when she saw 'him', the girl was confused about what to do. 'He' was so small, probably still around three to four months, curled up with hid body in shivering, pale skin, and his eyes were sharp, but still withered. 'He' is tired. These days, 'their' mothers always throw their children away and follow the modern lifestyle. No kids in royalty.

Even when Wendy wanted to help by inviting him into the house, 'he' growled and hissed. 'He' also tried to bite the girl's hand. He won't understand her words though. Annoyed that he would continue to chomp her with those small teeth, Wendy decided to hold him over her shoulder even though 'he' was struggling.

What made Wendy want to try to care for her? Nothing special. She was just fascinated by the eyes of this little creature. Shiny blue sky in the dim alley. Whereas in general, 'their' eye color is green or yellow. That is what makes 'him' different.

We only talking about 'them' and 'he'. What exactly is it about? Yes, 'they'. Don't you know what that means? Geez, not up to date at all. 'They'.

Anicium Sapiens.
