As the story develops and you get acquainted, so to speak, with the characters, the first impression confirms itself: the author knows how to manage the chapters. Also, he/she knows how conduct the flow of events, knows how to create good characters, and once you get used to this prose style, that is...
you'll feel immerse in this unique narrative.
I believe bit everyone will appreciate the subtleness or how the story is detailed, but I really do. Interestingly, the first chapters didn't prepare you for what comes next, and I'm glad the author doesn't throw the whole plot in your face in the first two pages and keep beating it as a dirty carpet for the duration of the novel.
It's on my library and I'm awaiting for more OMG moments.
If you like fantasy with convoluted plotlines, well written characters, descritive scenes and
subtle humor, this is the novel you want to read next.
