7 Itachi Sensei

'Shit I over shot him!' Itachi cursed his inaccurate aim.

He dashed toward the boy, who was falling toward the center of the ice and fire. He ignored the fact that he was being frozen over the closer he got to his aunt.

The was now passed her and now in between the two. The Uchiha jumped into the air and grabbed the boy by his collar. And with his other, he makes a hand seal and blows out a pool of water that could flood the entire room.

The small waves of water made its way toward Rei and Enji. The rushing waves of water snapped Rei out of her trance. She quickly used her ice to freeze over the wave that was just about to smash into her.

On the opposite side of the room Endeavor was visibly shock at the size of the wall of water. He'd be more surprised if he knew Itachi was holding back significantly.

He snapped himself out of it and launched a continuous flame at the wave. The water began to evaporate into a hot steam that filled the room.

If someone who was unfamiliar with what the room was really meant for, they could easily mistake it for a sauna.

Itachi had now landed safely on the hard wooden floor along with his cousin.

'Woah' Shoto thought to himself. He'd seen everything that had just happen, he saw Itachi travel half of the room in an instant. Stopped his parents while simultaneously saving him.

Rei walked passed the frozen wave, that was now melting from the stream and saw Shoto in the ground with Itachi. She ran and hugged her son with tears in her eyes.

"I'm so sorry Shoto. You shouldn't have seen that. I shouldn't have acted that way either."

Shoto hugged her tightly and tried his best to fight the urge to cry his eyes out.

The sound of a loud thump came from the room with the thickest amount of steam.

The large redheaded flaming man emerged from the steam heading towards the crying mother and child.

Itachi, who is laying on the ground next to Rei and Shoto, heard the loud footsteps and saw the man heading towards him.

He stood up and got in between his aunt and cousin with his Sharingan activated.

Itachi stared straight into Endeavors eyes And noticed that his movement became clearer, more predictable.

Endeavor continued to walk forward. His blue vibrant eyes met Itachi's piercing red eyes.He took note of the fact that his eyes have changed. Instead of two tomoe circling his Irises, there were now three.

Itachi was on his guard, ready to fight to keep them safe.But he let his guard down because he could see that endeavor wasn't going to do anything. He saw the path he was going to take.

Endeavor walked right past Itachi,Rei, and Shoto. Heading right toward the entrance.

"Wait, I need to speak with you." Endeavor turned his head to met the red eyed boy.

(Todoroki household hallway)

The two brother strolled along through the hallways attempting to find their little cousin.

Natsuo kelp on nagging his brother about random things. Touya gave him quick and simple responses such as "yep" "mhm" "yeah".

"Hey did you see that new video of Homeland or stopping those robbers? He is so cool! No wonder he's the number one hero!" Natsuo spouted out.

To spoke under his breathe in a calm manner.

"Yeah you're right he is a hero. He's actually a true hero not like all of those "fake heroes."

He thought about one hero especially when talking about "fake heroes".

Natsuo was kinda surprised. He expected his brother to give another half assed response, but that's not what he got. He could tell that Touya felt deeply about what he was saying.

"Uh...right let's just keep moving. Wonder what Itachi's doing." Natsuo said trying to change the subject.

Touya side realizing that he probably shouldn't have spoken his view on things.

"He might be with Shoto." Touya told him.

"Hm, Shoto? Why would he be with Shoto?"

Touya shrugged, "Don't know, but I did see mom in Shoto enter his room last night. Who knows they might have become friends."

Natsuo smiled. He knew Shoto's didn't have many friends nor was he close with any of them, so the thought of him making a friend made him happy.

"Yeah that sounds nice." The frost haired boy added.

The boys continue down the hall on their search for their cousin. While walking both of them noticed that there was a mist coming out of one of the rooms.

"Is that a fire?!" Natsuo yelled as he ran toward the direction. Touya join him as they ran toward the room.

Their reaction was justifiable.Majority of their house was made of wood.if something caught fire their house with swiftly and easily catch fire.

As the boys had just reached the entrance of the room they noticed the sign above the door read "training room".

They both calm down because this was the training room the new endeavor would often train Shoto and himself in there.

They also noticed that the smoke wasn't really smoke it was instead steam that was leaking through the doorway.

"We should keep mov-" before Touya could finish what he said the door way was slid open.

Coming out of the stream was a tall muscular man with flames on his shoulders. He saw the two boys in front of him but ignored them as he usually did and kept walking until he was out of sight.

The next to come out was Itachi who looked at the boys in front of him.

They were shocked and confused as to why he of all people was in the training room. The other thing that surprised them was the gleaming red eyes that glanced upon them his cold emotionless face didn't help either.

It sent shivers down there spines." What are you guys doing her?" Itachi asked them.

"Well we were in our way to find to let you know that breakfast was ready." Natsuo explained.

Itachi simply nodded then stopped using his Sharingan. Another pair came out of the room and into the hallways, Rei and Shoto.

The boys saw there mother and brother leaving the room. They could tell that they had been crying. The boys gritted their teeth.

"Mom what happened in there." Natsuo asked with a mix of anger and concern in his voice.

"Nothing honey it was just another training day." She said with a smile." Now breakfast is ready, so you should get going before it get cold.

"Yeah alright" Natsuo sounded a bit sad which was not like him at all. He knew his mother wasn't telling the truth but would press her because he knew she's been doing it to protect them.

"Come on, let's go Natsuo" Touya told his brother as they began to walk away.

Rei turned around to looks at the young Uchiha and bowed her head. "Thank you for saving Shoto. Who knows what would have happens if you didn't stop us. So I thank you."

"Aunt please raise your head. You don't need to apologize. You were trying to keep us safe so there no reason you shout apologize for that"

The woman smiled and raised her head. They may change color but there's no doubt that you have your mothers' eyes" Rei said before taking Shoto's hand and walking away.

Itachi turned his back and went the opposite way, the way toward his room, while hiding the genuine small she gave him with the words she had said,

(5 minutes earlier)

"Wait, I need to speak with you" Itachi said to the flaming man, who said nothing.

"It's about Shoto, and the way in which you teach him."

Enji turns his head to meet with Itachi's

"They way you teach him is wrong and ineffective. He won't progress if you keep doing it." He said coldly.

"Just get to the point." Endeavor said impatiently.

"I want to be his teacher from now on" he said with all seriousness.

Endeavor however could laugh at the word they boy had just spoken." You want to be his teacher now do you? Explain to me what exactly YOU will do?"

"I'll teach him how to actually use his quirk properly.

Endeavor was actually curious at to the the boy could teach Shoto and if he could actually improve."Hmm, alright fine, you have until the end of summer,which is how long you'll be staying here, to train him your way. But he MUST also use his fire quirk. If he has any significant performance improvement then I'll leave all if training to you.

"And if he doesn't." Itachi asked.

Endeavor smirked "Then you too will under my teaching and become my student.Deal?"

Itachi though about the words that his uncle had just spoken. After thinking for a sec he look up at him. "Yeah, deal."

Itachi went toward Shoto who was now detached from his mother's arms.

"Hey Shoto, what you did back there was pretty brave. That's something a true hero would do."

"Thank you" The boy responded.

"No problem. Oh and one more thing. From now on you'll be learning from me, your new sensei."
