It was all done for Love

A young lady looses her mother at the age of 16, just after her parents had filed for divorce. six months after her mother's passing, her father marries again.However the step mother mistreats her and ends up convincing her husband to send the young lady to a boarding school, after she is sent to a boarding school she is abandoned and never sees her father again. Well that was part of the plan. A good Samaritan adopts her, she grows up into a beautiful woman but later finds love with a very dangerous man. After marriage they start a family but live their whole life on the run, since the husband was a serial killer. Their son turns his back on them and becomes a cop just to put his father behind bars.
