4 Chapter 4: what does D want now...

I could feel his fingers lingering on my shoulder after tapping it, the feeling sent shivers down my spine. I shuddered slightly and said, "Okay."

Once everyone had left, he cleared his throat and said, "Hello, Sunshine."

I internally screamed but decided to play dumb for now.

"Wow, thank you, I get that a lot," I said.

He seemed taken aback by that comment for a second, but I must have imagined it because when I looked at him. He appeared the same casual yet business-like self.

Wow, he looks different than I imagined, I noticed for the first time. He's taller than me with piercing hazel eyes and flowing brown that was short and flipped to the left side.

I pulled myself out of my thoughts and asked, "Why did you ask me to stay behind?"

He laughed and leaned against a table. "I think you know why," he said with a warm smile.
