2 The chat

'You owe me big time' Elizabeth mocked, flashing him a brilliant smile 'in fact, I think you can pay me back right now'. Her tone was teasing, she knew Chris wanted to get back to his game but she also knew that she could get him to do just about anything for saving him from another fight. He looked up at her, one eyebrow raised 'oh really? And what is it your highness wants?' his tone was teasing, he knew full well how much I hated being called that.

Elizabeth frowned a little then gave him a sadistic look. 'I want you to cook dinner tonight.' she threw the apron at him, took the tray with drinks and walked out of the kitchen. Chris was really good in the kitchen so she knew that whatever he made would definitely be better than her food. She also knew that he enjoyed cooking a lot more than spending time talking to people and that this was the easiest way to keep peace in the house.

she reached the lounge and put the drinks on the table, passing a glass to her mother and then het sister.

Then she sat down on the couch and listened to the conversation between the two. They were talking about Naomi's life and her husband. Not wanting to be a part of the conversation, Elizabeth stood up, excused herself and went back to the kitchen to see if Chris needed some help preparing the food.

He did, and with a nod she started peeling and slicing up carrots and potatoes.

'I've noticed that you've been spending a lot of time alone again, is everything okay?' Chris asked with concern in his voice but still looking at the food in front of him.

'I guess,' with an audible sigh Elizabeth continues. 'I've been feeling a little lonely lately, all of my friends are away and you know what I'm like, I just can't go up to people and start conversations. Sometimes I wish people were dogs, life would be so much simpler.'

Chris smiles at Elizabeth's comment. He knows full well how shy she can be. 'I know of something that might be able to help you' he pauses looking up. Elizabeth raises an eyebrow to signal for him to continue. Chris waits a little longer, knowing that Elizabeth hates it when people do that. He loved to tease her, she was like one of his best friends... 'YES?!' Elizabeth impatiently exclaims, obviously annoyed. Chris chuckles then continues. 'The site I use to watch anime has a Chatroom, I've been on it a few times and the people seem really nice, why don't you make a profile and start making online friends.

Elizabeth was a little taken back by this idea but the more she thought about it. the more she liked it. ' sound's good, what's the site?'

'Chatango, I'll finish up here, thanks for your help.' Chris smiles as Elizabeth leaves the kitchen.

Elizabeth walked into her room where Summer was soundly sleeping on her pillow. She took her laptop from her desk and sat on the bed. Typing in the website name, she found it immediately and opened an account.

Not long after, messages started coming in.

This is where she saw him. His username was Kaos and he was the most handsome man she had ever seen. His message consistent of only one word. "HELLO"
