1 Wake up

The sky was blue, the clouds padded and crisp white, the birds were singing as the wind carried their melodies away. Trees rose as far as the eye could see leaving no visible trace of human activity. In this wild landscape a hill overhung the trees, on it three shapes stood out, three elongated figures side by side, three young men in uniforms.

~ I have a headache, what's going on? ~

"Uh !? ... Where am I?"

One of the men opened his eyes and with a surprised look hurried into a sitting position. His black uniform was visible for miles, the young man sitting on the hill has brown hair and a rather imposing stature. He looked around and recognized two other people, one was blond and quite short while the other had black hair and glasses.

~ Kidnapping ~

As the thought crossed his mind the other two boys woke up.

"um ... kidnapping?"

Said the little blond a few moments after opening his eyes, gazing up at the sky, he didn't bother to stand up.

"No, we don't seem attached and besides we are outside" replied the the four eyes after getting started and looking around.

At the top of this hill stood by order of awakening Shindo, Shun and Baram, three childhood friends, they are almost always together, so meeting all three in the same place did not surprise them. Shindo scratched his head as he swept his gaze across the landscape and asked:

- "Our plane spat?"

- "No, we are in examination period so no school trip was planned"

- "hmm ... yet considering the wildlife we ​​are no longer in Japan"

~ I might be dreaming, no, that looks way too real ~

While Shindo and Baram were thinking about how they got to this place, Shun walked away and looked around.

- "You were with Shun before you woke up?"

- "No, so neither do you, so before we woke up here each of us was in a different place from the other two"

30 minutes passed and Shun joined the group with a rather peculiar expression, his eyes were wide open his face was showing a shaky smile as a drop ran down his forehead.

After everyone calmed down, Shun, Baram, and Shindo sat in a circle. Baram had his fingers crossed and his hands in front of his nose, Shindo had his right hand resting on the ground and his left elbow on his left knee which was raised. Shun had his arms crossed. Although seated differently, the three of them had the same gaze, a piercing gaze that made it seem like they were taking their situation seriously. Baram looked at Shun and started the conversation.

- "Did you see any strange animals or plants?"

- "I didn't see any animals, and the plants weren't weird in themselves"

- "So what's the problem with plants?"

- "I went into the forest to the west, at the beginning everything was normal, but that was before I saw hygrophiles, xerophiles and ferns online on my left"

The dialogue between the two was fluid and continuous, Baram understood the situation with the little information Shun gave him and even managed to deduce the implicit information from it. This was not the case for everyone, Shindo who had an expression that suggested "What is he talking about?" Looked at the other two without saying a word.

"Hygrophiles are plants that are found in humid environments, Xerophilia grow in arid environments and ferns can't be found on the ground." Baram explained after seeing Shindo's troubled face.

After hearing this explanation everything seemed clear to him too. No place on earth could meet all these conditions, how could an environment be both arid and humid? How could a fern even be on the ground? Where were they? All these questions tortured their minds but no answer came to their mind The sound of the wind and the chirping of birds were gone. No sound was audible, it was as if everything that was outside the three of them no longer existed. Shun who had his head down started to tremble, he slowly raised his head and with the same trembling smile as before, broke this silence.
