1 Magical~

My name is Noel Flonsch, an ordinary High Schooler. I was walking home while chatting with my friend Gil that day.

"Hey, Gil, did you play that new game that just came out?"

"Oh, you mean that new fantasy VR MMORPG game? Yeah, I did play it last night. It was cool." It was just any other ordinary day, talking about games, movies, and arguing which pop idol group is better. It was then, a speeding truck was quickly coming our way. Huh? Oh, it was already too late to think of anything else.

Honk! Honk! Skrrrrttt! Crash! My vision went black after that. All I see is the pitch-black void that's staring right at me. I swear it felt like it was about to eat me whole. Suddenly, a bright light illuminated the void that I was stuck in. The light approached me as it formed into the shape of a voluptuous woman with long silky silver hair tied into a ponytail, she is wearing a long milky white fancy gown as if she's heading into a wedding as the bride.

"Greetings young one, it is my sincerest apologies that you have died."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"You were not supposed to die, child. Your death is an unforeseen accident, a miscalculation in my part."

"Wait wait wait... So your saying I should still be alive right now? THEN WHY AM I HERE?! I still have yet to play that new VR MMORPG game that just came out yesterday you know!"

"I'm very sorry, child. Even if I bring you back to life, there's nothing much I can do. Your body is mangled and even us Gods need to follow the rules."

"Huh? Gods? Hold on a moment... You said Gods... Does that mean..."

"Yes, I am a God. The Goddess of Fate."

Whaaa! She's the Goddes of Fate!? Then why the heck did she let me die??? Hold on... She did say I wasn't supposed to die yet, and that was just a mistake on their part...

"*Sigh* As for compensation for our mistake. I bestow upon you three wishes"

Did I hear that right? She's giving me three wishes?! Does that mean whatever I wish for will come true?

"Not everything you wish for is possible of course."

"Whaaa! D-did you just read my mind?"

"No, I did not. You were just thinking aloud"

"Ah... Well then, I will now say the things that I want."

"Go ahead"

"For my first wish, I want to be reincarnated into a magical world."

"Are you perhaps referring to those worlds similar to those RPG games that you played?"

Huh? How did she... Nevermind, there's no use thinking about it.

"Yes, those worlds. Is it possible?"

"Yes, yes it is..."

... Why did it sound like she was about to say something else? And what was that smirk... is she planning on something? Nah, I'm probably just imagining things. "Great! For my second wish, I want to able to quickly learn anything about that world."

"That's... Alright, I'll permit it this once." Yay! My googly eyes work even against Gods! Something to keep in mind for the future... hehehe!

"And lastly my third wish, I want to have a Holy Sword!"

"... You're still in that phase, aren't you? ara-ara"

Is she making fun of me? So what if I'm still in 'that' phase? Hmph! Can't I at least satisfy my dreams?

"Alright, when you reincarnate you will be given a Holy Sword, that is if you reach a certain requirement of course. Is there anything else?"

"Huh? What do you mean? I only have three wishes right?"

"Oh! I forgot... I'm such a klutz hehehe~" This goddess... I swear...

"Alright, I will now send you into a different world. I wish you the best and I hope you bear many children~" Wha! Bear children?! I'm not even a girl!

"Hey! Wai-" Before I can even ask about what she meant, I was knocked out of my consciousness... When I was finally sober, I sensed that I was lying down on a bed of grass. I also heard the chirping of birds as I finally open my eyes.

"Ughh... That mischievous goddess... What the heck did she mean from those words?" I familiarize myself with my surroundings as my vision clears. I saw that I was lying beside a tree, filled with what looks to be a red fruit. It's not apple though... I look to the left and I see a river not far from where I am.

"So this is it. I finally reincarnated into a magical world! My journey to becoming the Hero begins!" Huh? My voice is pitched so high... and what's this cool feeling on my legs... Eh!? Why am I wearing a skirt? Are those pink knee-cut socks? Those are some fancy leader shoes! Though a bit feminine... Ugh... My chest feels a little bit heavy... What's this!? There's a hill on my chest! Squish! Squish! Ehhh!?!? I have... I have... No... Let's check if it's still down there to verify!

No... No way... T-There's nothing there...

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!" Arrgghh!!! Why did this happen to me!? That despicable goddess! This is definitely her doing! The time that I sense something behind that smile and those words of hers... I'll find her and make her pay! Sigh... There's no use being angry right now. I should go to the river and check out how I look!

"W-wha... What's this!? Is this even me? N-No... Impossible..." I stare at myself on the river's reflection. I see a cute stunning beauty wearing a white blouse with short blizzard white hair, pale snow-white skin, a beautifully carved nose, small pink lips, and those captivating silver-colored eyes. I touch my face and I couldn't believe I'm this beautiful... Ahem, I mean I was pretty attractive and cute before, but this? Scrap that. Compared to my new appearance, my old male self is nothing but an ugly duckling! I shouldn't be thinking of this right now... I should go and find a place to stay.

So I check my surroundings to find something useful, then suddenly in the bushes not far away, I heard rustling sounds and it sounds like it's coming for me! Please don't be a monster, please don't be a monster, please don't be a monster!

Whoosh! Eeeek! Huh? "Oh, it's just a bunny... phew~" I really should be going now... Right, which direction should I go to? Hmmm... Hey, what's that in the air? Smoke? Something's burning, I should check it out.

As I traversed the annoying shrubs and trees, I finally arrive at the location of the ascending smoke. There are two tents and a campfire, all in all, it looks like someone is taking a rest in the middle of the forest. I slowly approach the camp, when suddenly something taps my shoulder and trails down behind my back.

Eeeeek! "S-spider! Get off! Get it off me! Aaaaahhh!" I screamed and rolled on the ground as I try to take off the spider from clinging onto my clothes!

"A-ahem..." Huh? Did someone just cough? I quickly stand up and faced where the cough came from. Standing in front of me is a tall old man with a big belly wearing mercenary clothing and a giant sword on his back.

"Hello there young lady, are you lost?" Eh? He did not see that embarrassing act, did he? Please don't... I swear I'll die from embarrassment if he did!

"H-Hello..."

"What were you doing in the wilderness miss? You know it's dangerous out here."

"Ah, I was trying to look for a place to go, preferably a place to stay in." The old man nods and proceeds to walk to one of the tents in the camp. Snore~ Eh? Someone is sleeping there? (AN: Of course someone is sleeping there!)

"Hey, Libera! Wake up will you? We have a guest."

Snore~ "T-This girl..."

Snore~ "WAKE UP YOU DAMN RUNT OR ELSE I'M GONNA EAT ALL OF YOUR NUTS!"

"Uwaah! NO ONE STEALS MY PEANUTS! ORAAAH!!! ... ... ..."

"Finally you're awake. We have a visitor, fix your clothes, and behave will ya?" I pop out of the back of the old man and look at the girl that just barged out of the tent. I saw a tanned girl with a slim figure and brown hair. She wears a blue tank top and black leather shorts. Also, she looks small... probably 5'1... Hehehe looks like someone is smaller than me!

"Hiiiiiiiii! You stupid old man! You should've told me we have a visitor! How embarrassing!"

"Sigh... I tried calling for you but you were sleeping like a log. Also, I noticed you ate all of my sweet rolls, you should explain yourself, young lady."

"Ah... ehehehe~" Look's like we caught a culprit here folks!

"Haaa... anyways, we should introduce ourselves first. My name is Hubert, and this little rascal is Libera."

"Heyoo! How do you do?"

"Ah, M-my name is Noel."

"Noel is it? Well, I suggest you come with us. We're gonna pack soon and leave for Car-antor, it's a few hour's walk from here, we'll probably arrive there at noon. It's a pretty big town, so if you need anything, you might find it there, hows does that sound?" A town? Just the place I need to go. If I'm gonna start my adventure, a town is a good place to start!

"Alright, I'll come with you."

"That's great! If you need a company along the way, Libera can talk to ya. It's also good to talk to someone of the same age, maybe you girls would become best friends after our journey. Hahahaha!" Ehehehe... This old man sure is awkward... Anyway, I joined both Old Man Hubert and the Energetic Libera on the way to Car-antor.
