Behind the table

Not in the world he thought that he would meet her today and there. It's been while since they met, but the tension between them still prevails no matter what.

However the unknown guilt, Parth has for Nora, is something which has been bothering him a lot nowadays. He tried to ignore it but couldn't help himself. In the end he decided to help little.

So he came here to talk with the professor to let them check on Nora from time to time so that students would fear to do anything because of their professor at least. However he never thought that he would meet Nora in the office instead.

Nora's brows frowned a little. She looked up but didn't look back. By now her subconscious mind already memorised his voice. Looking down, back to her phone she said. "Had work."

"If done then go." He immediately said.He wasn't trying to be rude but he can't talk to professor in front of her. She needs to leave.

Her eyes got narrowed. Even if she doesn't want to hate that person, he is forcing her to do that every single time. With a sigh she answered. "... I don't work on someone's words. You can stay or leave. But don't talk to me."

"..." Parth had nothing more to say. Of course why would she listen to his words. Taking his seat on the couch he waited for the professor to come.

Both Nora and Parth busied themselves with their papers and phone. Unlike Nora who was completely busy and didn't care about her surroundings, Parth's whole attention was only on Nora.

He tried a number of times to look back at his cell phone but every next second his eyes would find Nora. Unknowingly he was watching her every movement carefully. As if in a few moments he was about to write a book on them.

He know he did wrong to that girl but the girl in front of him always remind him that she didn't care about it at all. Every time it's only Parth or Mike who feels bad for her, whereas the victim doesn't care what is happening around her.

By now he can tell that she knows how to protect herself from any danger or from any bully. But whatever a person does, at one time she would feel bad when someone treats her like this. Right? But in Nora case it's no where to find.

Not for once did she blamed him for misery nor did she tried to explain herself. Let alone apologies for anything. She is so clean that Parth could only feel guilty about doing such thing to her.

They were waiting in the Room when Nora and Parth both heard some voices from outside the office. Parth instantly got alarmed. Not wasting any time he stood and walked to Nora's side before pulling her up from her seat.

"What do you think you are doing?" Her eyes and tone both turned cold. She was about to get herself away from his grasp when Parth bent down and pulled her too behind the table.

"You-" Nora was about to speak but Parth instantly put his hand on her mouth and hushed her down.

Nora was all confused. She couldn't decipher the situation she was in until she heard some girl's entering the office.

-"Where is Parth?" The first girl asked

-"I don't know. I did see him entering this office." The second one meekly told them her part of story

-"Then where the hell did he go?" The third girl questioned frustratingly.

-"I... don't know." Earlier when she got to know about Parth going inside the professor 's office alone, she hurriedly called her friends so that they all could go inside the office with any excuse and meet Parth too.

-"He might have gone out only for a while."

-"How do you know?"

-"Because he left his phone here."

Parth's eyes widened with realisation. He removed his hand from Nora's mouth and checked his pockets. However in hurry he did forget his phone on the couch.

-"Let's wait. He will come back for his cell phone. Then we will meet him." The fourth one said to which all three of them profusely nodded.

"Shit. We are stuck." Parth murmured slowly.

"What the hell are we doing here?" Nora whisperedly asked.
