William was thankful that he did not have to suffer this pain for too long. But now there was another problem. The mana around the soul was spreading in the vast sea of consciousness. It soon reached the size of a pond and continued to grow.

As the pond grew, it became a lake, and it seemed impossible to stop its growth. William tried to create borders around the pond in the form of a large pool, but the mana had broken through the borders of pure spiritual energy as if it were superior and heavier than his pure spiritual energy.

The mana pool soon stopped expanding outward and began expanding downward. It was now on its way to resembling a real lake. The nothingness in the Sea of Consciousness William felt no pain, even though it seemed to be pierced.

Then something strange happened, the soul rose from where it was and floated to the shore of the lake. There it hovered a few inches above the ground and then stopped.
