6 1.6 (Not your ordinary school)

I clench my fist and look at the stage from here, thousands of students suddenly became quiet. You could hear nothing, it's like being trapped in a soundproof room.

"alright! Let us now start the ceremony -" as she said that those who were hunting us came up on the stage. A cowboy, martial artist, a girl wearing a hoodie with a bow and arrow, a boxer and a guy wearing a tuxedo -" as you may see on the stage, all of you had atleast encountered one of them on your way here and they should have mention something about points," the speaker stated.

what would have happened if all of us got trapped with the cowboy and the martial artist we encountered, what could it mean to lose points. I'm guessing this school runs on points system.

If it weren't for Chase we couldn't have save Jack and the others, wait!! What could have happened to our leader and those who stayed behind??? I look back trying to see if our leader manage to catch up but it looks like they didn't.

"as all of you may notice, this school runs on points system. Everything you do will be evaluated to your total grade on the end of the year, from your behaviors towards the class, outside of class and even in our fun activities," the speaker took a minute to drink some water

fun activities??? What does she meant by that?? Is it like what just happened, its just an activity???

"hey chase what do you think??" I asked.

"I'll explain later, I feel like she's about to say something important,"

"I see, you do have a point everything is still not explained." like those dorm sign we saw, I guess we're living in dorms then.

"now where did I end again??? Oh yeah about the activities I mentioned, what just happened to all of you is an example of the activities we were going to play. This activities exist to keep your minds healthy, from decision making and planning. It is also important to take note that every decision you make from here on out, you and only you will be held responsible," she scanned the whole students on the ground with those sharp eyes.

"hey," Chase murmured. I look at him in the eye

"is something the matter?" I asked.

"you know what she said right?"

"which one??"

He looked at me, I could see his sharp eyes piercing to my soul "it's nothing" he murmured and averted his look at the stage.

"you're acting weird, you know" I replied.

"weird stuff already happened, can't blame you for not realizing it," geez why did he became so cold.

"realize what exactly?!?!"

What is he talking about?? Has he gone mad from what happened. Think reanna think what could he be thinking right now.

"don't worry, I'm sure of it that you will notice it soon enough," he replied.

"hmm alright, I'll keep my guard up" I could see him grinning, what does he mean by that?? Dammit.

"anyways, that's all I have to say. Don't lower your guard down, believe me there's a lot of mysteries in this school. Feel free to explore every inch of it and don't be afraid to tell what you discovered, like I said everything is evaluated just don't get caught in the process. Classes will be back to normal by tomorrow, for now do your best to explore the schools, go do what ever you want, everything is also free" as she said that and walk away from the mic, all of the students begun to cheer.

"hey let's go to the mall, its just pass the dormitory of Creylun and Leighborn high," a girl shouted to her friends.

"come on dude let's hurry, there might be a arcade corner in the mall," some boys shouted with excitement.

"looks like all of the students are leaving huh, is there somewhere you wanted to go to reanna??" Chase asked.

"hmmm let's go to the mall as well, we should buy our basic needs first, like clothes and snacks,"

"right, everything is free huh. Shall I say it to our classmates??"

"yeah, tell them that we should buy our needs first,"

Chase turned around to our classmates "everyone, me and reanna decided to go to the mall, to buy foods or meals and some clothing. All of you can join us or you can go by yourselves," chase stated.

"hmm its alright, we will just go by ourselves. I'm also going to search for our leader and those were left behind. So I'll be going now bye!!" some random dude said and started running along with some students.

The girls have other plans in mind and as well as the boys, they started walking away from us. It's just me, chase, a girl and a boy. I think I should approach them. Then he caught me looking at him.

"Oh, might as well introduce ourselves, my name is Kyle Escobar," he said.

"and my name is Ashley Decker. Nice to meet the both of you" she smiled.

"again I'm Reanna Pearce and this is Chase Frost, nice to meet you too," I bowed.

"so you two want to tag along with us," chase asked.

"yeah, sure I mean me and Ashley aren't really in a group. We're actually relieved when Chase made a request," he murmured and chuckled.

Maybe this two are lovers, hehehe I mean they do look close enough to be lovers or maybe both them are too shy to confess. Heheh I just thought of something.

"let's get going now shall we," I grab Chase by the arm and started walking.

"h-hey!! What's the big idea," he replied.

"just play along, silly," I whispered. He took a good look at Kyle and Ashley.

"I see, very well then -" as he said that he crouch "hop on my back I'll give you a piggy back ride, darling."

My eyes widen and my jaw dropped, I look at them with the same expression on my face. What the fuck did he just call me??? Darling??? Is he out of his mind, geez why did I even do this in the first place. The idiot I really am, I just played along. Sigh.

I hop on his back and he stood up. Wow his strong "alright, now Kyle give her a piggy back ride and let's race to the mall. Hahahaha," he laughed.

"we will pass" he replied.

"oh come on don't you love it when you're on top of him, right Ashley??" I grinned. In a sexual manner that is muahhahaha, let's spoil this two.

"don't you like it when she's on top of you Kyle??" chase added. Well done.

"actually, you see... We're cousins" Kyle replied. Wait cousins!?!?! What!?!?!

"yeah we're cousins, wait did you two thought we were couples??" Ashley added.

Kyle and Ashley looked at each other, I could see it in their faces that they couldn't hold it in. They burst out of laughter.

"hahahahaha!!!" both of them laughed.

"that is golden," Kyle added. Swiping his tears from laughter.

"it's OK, honestly we've been mistaken to be couples even before we got here," he stated.

"because I live with Kyle's parents," Ashley added.

"that's why we're mistaken alot to be couples, we're just so close to each other thats all. The reason she live with us now is unfortunately her parents already passed away" Kyle explained, Ashley look down on the ground.

"we're so sorry" Chase replied.

"it's all right, really. It's something from the past that we should move on" she stated. She's trying to be strong and I respect her for that.

Suddenly a burst of laughter could be heard from not too far away "hahahahah!!!" we quickly looked at a far and it was a Dean. This is so embarrassing.

He rush towards us and greeted us "hey there, looks like you manage to find a boyfriend on the first day huh. Well done reanna," Dean chuckles again.

Chase bends down and I got off of him "you know this guy, reanna??" he asked.

"yeahh, Chase, Kyle and Ashley this is Dean, a friend of mine I met on my way here,"

"nice to meet you all I'm Dean miles, call me Dean," he bowed his head.

"so what happened to your talk with the teacher, Dean??" I asked.

"nothing much, honestly because of it I miss out on what happened. Luckily I could see all of the students," he stated.

"see all of the students??" chase asked.

"it's more of a gigantic security area, you know where the security monitors the school through the security cameras,"

I wonder, what did they do in there anyway "anyways what were you guys up to??" he added.

"we were going to the mall, wanna join" Chase asked.

"sure!!! I guess I'll be the fifth wheel," he murmured. Geez how could he say that not after saving my butt back then. If only I could pay him back by punching his face. It would have been so worth it.

"Finally!!! We've arrived," it felt like every ounce of my strength have been drained drastically. I wish there were bikes in here.

"It took us longer than I expected-" chase took out his handkerchief and rub it against his face -"I'm sweating like crazy right now." he added.

"if there's a bike by any chance, I'm buying it. I'm not going to walk for 30 minutes just to buy some groceries." Kyle stated. While drinking some water he bought from a vending machine.

"ohh, all of you look really exhausted right now," Dean spoke looking at me while I rub my face with my handkerchief.

"I guess you have more stamina than us then." Ashley remarked.

"good point, or maybe I'm just suited for long walks. Heck I could even walk for 3 hours while playing some tunes of course," Dean replied.

"seriously man, what's your secret??" Chase asked.

Yeahhh like seriously we need help, our bodies can't maintain this much of walking. Being a girl with a weak body, I could even last just for 10 minutes. Excited getting to the mall I guess I forgot about the time.

Dean must have been an athlete or maybe he trained with one, that's why he has good stamina to begin with. I wish I could walk for hours without taking breaks.

Dean put begun to scratch his head "my secret huh?!?!-" his thinking really hard on this one-" oh yeah, how about try reading a book nonstop???" he answered.

"nonstop??? I easily get bored on the first chapter and start again after a week or two," chase replied.

"seriously that's how you read???" I replied.

"reading isn't really my thing, I would prefer playing mystery games," he answered.

"really?!?!?! Then how about reading one, I would even share you my collection of mystery stories with a lot of plot twist" Dean replied.

I guess dean really likes reading books huh, this too could easily get along. If I were to trap them in one room with books and video games that is.

"sure, some other time. Now I think we should enter the mall, we can't just talk outside forever," Chase stated.

"yeah, but what should we all buy first then??" I asked.

"I think we should head on to the clothing store then the market for our lunch that could last us for a week, health related products like shampoo and soup. And maybe even a bike, if there is one though," Kyle requested.

"that sounds great," I replied.

"alright then, shall we proceed," Dean passionately asked.
