35 Marriage Announcement
Alex and Beth woke up in each others embrace. He could not believe that in such a short time he would have someone as wonderful as her.
"I want to tell everone today that we are getting married. " He said kissing her forehead.
"Must we so soon?" It still seemed a little fast to her. Would they still feel this way in a few weeks, few months, even a few years. She was getting scared.
"I told you that when we were through we would be getting married. I won't loose you again. You will become Elizabeth Poe or better yet Mrs. Alexander Poe Junior."
That did sound good but it did not release her fears. "ok, I'll do what you asked".
They both got up and dressed and went downstairs for breakfast.
Everyone but Sky was there. Alexander Senior told them that sky left for some important meeting earlier. Julie was heartbroken he did not say goodbye. However she knew he would keep his promise to help.
Alex hits his glass with his knife 'ding, ding, ding ' "Everyone I would like to announce that this weekend Beth and I are getting married."
Beth just smiled. Everyone was shocked.
Then started to congratulate them. Mary was happy she liked Beth and knew she would take care of her boys.

After Breakfast the men went to the study to talk.
"Son you sure about this. You've only known her a few weeks now. No need to rush into this." Senior said.
"Dad, I've never been more sure. This last week when Beth went missing then I helping her take down Black. I never want to be with out her. I know we still need to get to know each other but I don't want to do that apart." Alex explained.
"As long as your sure, I will support you 100%" He was proud of his son and knew Beth cared for him and his grandson.
"How about you Jack any plans in getting married?" Alex asked. He knew they were getting real close the past few days.
" Hey, don't rush me. If I desided to Marry her I first need her to meet my parents and I need to meet her so called Stepfather. " Jack said.
"Then she must have a proper proposal with the best rings. It would have to be perfect."Jack had it all planed in his head.
"Sound like you have been thinking hard. I can't believe the gigolo will be thinking about getting married." Alex teased Jack.
Jack turned red as a tomato.
"Will you go with me today to get a ring and get the paper work needed. Plus we need to finish up something at the office If I want to do this in two days." Alex asked.
"Yes, Do I get to be the best man?" Jack asked.
"No one but you would do." Alex made a few calls waiting on the girls to come down.

"You really getting married this Saturday?" Sarah asked.
"Yes I guess so", Beth was still scared.
"Can I be your matron of honor, please" Sarah pleaded. "and Who will give you away."
Beth had not thought of that. She had no father. The only man she even thought of as family was Sky. Could she ask him.
"I need to make a call get ready we are going shopping for dresses Alex is buying. Even you Julie we would not leave you out."Beth told them then left to call Sky.

She then logged on the game and waited for 5 minutes.

[Prettybunnie: No, but I need you this Saturday. ]

[Prettybunnie:You know I have no dad and I would like you to give me away at a wedding this Saturday to OgreKing]
[Rattatouilleknight:I would be honored I'll get ahold of OgreKing to find out dress and wear. ]
[Rattatouilleknight : Prettybunnie I am happy for you.]
[Prettybunnie:Thanks got to go see you soon]
That was easier then she thought.

They took two cars back to town. Girls in one and men in the other. Alex gave Beth a card and told her to spend what she wanted no limits.

Tuxedo Shop: Alex and all the men were being fitted for new tuxedos. AJ wanted a matching one to his father.
Sky had called and soon walked in. Alex was glad he had joined in. Beth has so little family.
After that they hit the jewelry store. Alex soon found the right set. Jack also found a set he like and had the clerk put it back for later.
Next the court house to get all the paper work. There they ran into Judge Mitchell who agreed to officiate on Saturday.
Then they all went back to the office.
"Is there a place I can set up and work on a few things Alex?" Sky asked.
"Take my office" Jack said. " I have things to do with Alex so I won't be in there.
"Thanks, I need to talk with Alex later if possible "Sky said.
"No problem, Give me a few hours but will talk before we meet up with the girls." Alex then showed him Jacks office then headed to his own. Jack followed.
"Wonder what he needs to talj about" Jack asked.
Alex just shrugs "Guess we'll find out."
They got three conference call done and cleared the calendar till Monday. Tommarow is a board meeting then they were all ready for this weekend. Alex did not forget to so see Sky.
"What's up?" Alex asked walking into Jacks office.
Sky looks up from his laptop. "I am going to need Beth's help again on the Farley matter. Nothing dangerous like with Black just her Tech skill but I wanted to talk to you first."
"Thanks it means a lot. It ok by me to ask her. I promised my self I would not hold her back from helping those she cares about. Tell me is she really that good." Alex asked.
"No she is better. If I did not want her in this world she would have taken over at the age of 16. If it were not for her I would not be were I am today. I feel bad using her now." Sky was not exaggerating when it came to Beth's skills She had sit up most of his programs he used.
"This guy can you tell me about him?" Alex asked
"He is into a lot of s#$@. Drugs, gambling, prostitution. Just like Black was. But he has some government backer keeping the Feds from taking him down. I need to get into his business to get more info and that's why I need Beth." Sky closed his laptop and put it into his bag.
"Ok, lets go meet the girls then tonight you come over to the penthouse and talk to Beth. " They got up went to the other offices and collected everyone to meet at FranJuiles for dinner.
