12 Chapter 12: It's Time to Train

3rd person POV

[Tsunade] "What the hell are you doing up? Do you know how long you've been unconscious?"

[Ed] "I was out for around 3 days, which means I need to hurry up and get stronger before that stupid dragon comes back. My body is in perfect condition too. You can check if you want."

Tsunade put her hand onto Edward's forehead and concentrated her chakra to search his body for any injuries.

[Tsunade] "Fine, but what do you plan on doing now that you're in the Hidden Leaf?"

[Ed] "Hmmmmmmm. I guess I'll enjoy your hospitality and train for a while. I heard that you enlist give your teams missions here. I might as well earn some money while I'm here."

[Tsunade] "Great! I have a list of A-S Ranked missions that need handling. ARE YOU AN IDIOT? DO YOU THINK I COULD LET SOME RANDOM PERSON WALK INTO THE VILLAGE AND NOT KEEP HIM UNDER SURVEILLANCE? YOU AIN'T GOIN' NOWHERE BUCKO!"

[Ed] "Well then, to reciprocate for my losses in not being able to earn money, the village must provide me with training equipment and assistance when I require it."

[Tsunade] "The Leaf isn't a village that you can just get people at your beck and call."

[Ed] "Why not? I just need a bunch of people to use their jutsu with me in 3 days."

[Tsunade] "Are you crazy? You just woke up and you already are planning on getting yourself injured. You're not a masochist are you?"

[York] Hoho. She got you good.

[Ed] 'Shut up York.'

[Ed] "It's my training method. So either you do this, or I get jobs to do."

Tsunade sits down in a swivel chair and thinks to herself for a minute with her face in her hands.

[Tsunade] "Here's what we're going to do. I will assign you, HInata, and Hanabi onto a temporary team. You will complete missions with them, and they will watch you. If you need to do your training, just ask them to send a message and we'll gather some ninja from all the villages to use you as a target. We've got a war approaching us, so we honestly need all the help we can get to clear out possible enemies and do recon."

[Ed] "I'll start doing missions in 3 days. First I need to learn some jutsu, so could you gather all the fire, lightning, and neutral jutsu for me?"

[Tsunade] "You can't possibly learn all of those! There are hundreds of jutsu distributed around the 5 villages. It's almost impossible for one person to learn that many; especially before the war starts."

[Ed] "We'll see about that. Also, I need one strong water release, wind release, and earth release to help me train. I need their help to improve my chakra affinities."

[Tsunade] 'This bastard.'

[Tsunade] "Would you like a burger and fries with that?"

[Ed] "No need. Hanabi is already getting me some food. Speak of the devil, here she comes."

Hanabi slides open the door and walks in with two large bags of foam takeout containers.

[Hanabi] "Hi lady hokage. Umm, I didn't know what you liked, Ed, so I got a little of everything."

[Ed] "Thanks Hanabi."

Ed takes the bags from Hanabi and starts eating like Goku. In 30 seconds, he emptied the contents of both bags. The visitors stare at Edward like he's a monster.

[Ed] "Aaah! That's the stuff. Time to get to work! Please send the stuff and people that I asked for to the village gate. I'm gonna go train now."

Ed opens the window and hops out.

[Tsunade] "What did you idiots bring to the village?"

[Choji] "I don't know, but he's good at eating!"

[Tsunade] "The only reason I trust him a little is because Naruto used his Kurama's chakra to see his intent."

[Naruto] "Who are you gonna send to help him train?"

[Shikamaru] "Before his scuffle with Sasuke, Hinata said she didn't see any chakra in him, but afterward, she noticed lightning and fire chakra. Maybe he absorbs natures from getting attacked by them.

[Tsunade] "Well he asked us to bring him one each of water, wind, and earth, but I think we should mess with him a bit, and send him a bunch of kekkei genkai users too.

[Shikamaru] "That would probably be for the best. I'll go call Darui, Captain Yamato, The Mizukage, The Tsuchikage, Gaara, and Pakura.

[Tsunade] "You want us to pull 3 kages to train him."

[Shikamaru] "Ma'am, I saw him suck a dragon into oblivion 3 days ago. If he gets stronger, he might be able to win the war single-handedly."

[Tsunade] "It's really infuriating that we have to rely on someone not even from our continent to win our own damn war."

[Shikamaru] "But it's the best option we have."

[Tsunade] "Do it. I expect to see results from this training. If he can't use the other chakra natures after getting hit by them for 5 days, make him train by himself. Also, make a copy of the Scroll of Forbidden Jutsu and give it to him.

[Shikamaru] "We'll go send messenger birds right away."

All of the teams and nurses leave the room while Tsunade sits there and sighs.

[Tsunade] "I need a drink..."

That night, the legendary sucker cleaned out half the bars in Konoha.
