11 Chapter 11: The Hidden Leaf
3rd Person POV
Edward is lying on a bed in the hospital at Konoha. A concerned Hanabi is watching over him, along with a few nurses. Unbeknownst to them, the System is continuously upgrading itself in the depths of Edward's soul. As it grows, so too does Ed's strength.
Hanabi has fallen asleep next to the bed.
In the morning light, a bright blue butterfly floats through the window and lands on Edward's nose. As it squiggles around, it accidentally sticks one of its legs into Ed's left nostril causing him to violently sneeze. This wakes up both him and Hanabi. They stare at each other in silence. With tears in her eyes, she finally speaks.
[Hanabi] "How are you feeling?"
[Ed] "I think I'm doing alright. My head is a little tingly, but I'll live."
[York] Sure you will bub. Wait 'till I show you what I've been working on.
Hanabi notifies a nurse to tell her sister that Edward has woken up. As she turns back to Ed, she starts bawling.
[Hanabi] "I'm sorry... we should've just run as soon as we saw that thing."
[Ed] "Although I want to say that it's fine, you should remember that no matter how strong you are, you're only human. Humans are fragile creatures. We can die from just about anything. You should keep in mind how much you time you still have left and not waste it on a stupid mistake."
Hanabi leaps into Edward's arms and begins wailing.
[Hanabi] "WAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
[Ed] 'Why is she crying so much? I have no idea what I'm supposed to say anymore. If I say it's not her fault, I'd be lying. If I say it's all her fault, I'd still be lying, but she would also continue to cry. This is so awkward.
[York] This is the part where you give her a hug and pat her back saying, " There there." and then you marry her and have babies.
[Ed] "That sounds like uneven plot development. We can't do that here."
[York] Sure, sure. Have a look at your newly updated System.

[York] Well first of all, you completed the hidden quest. You received survival, a title, The Armor of Unity from Duel Capsules, and 7680 EXP. Since you made it past level 10, your stats have doubled, and to make for easy viewing, They have been permanently set as whole numbers. You won't be able to receive one tenth of a health point anymore. Since you have chakra nature affinities, chakra has been combined, with your EP giving you a slightly more abundant power source. Finally, I added a store so that you can buy packs by trading EXP. I figured it would take too long to get stronger, if you didn't have a reliable source of monster cards. The starting cost is 5000 EXP per pack, and after buying it twice, it will double in price. Right now, Cyber Dragon Revolution is the only pack you can get, since you haven't gotten any other packs.

Ed looks down at the Hanabi helplessly.
[Ed] "Hanabi, could you maybe get me some food, some weights, and a bunch of fire and lightning chakra manuals?"
[Hanabi] *sniffle* "Ok."
[Ed] "Thank you!"
When Hanabi finally calms down enough to leave, Ed gets up and do Saitama's workout routine. After 100 push-ups and sit-ups, Ed hears a large group of people come to his room. They abruptly open the door and walk in during his 67th left-handed push-up. When Ed looks up, he is greeted by an entourage of more than 20 people, including nurses, 5 anbu, teams 7, 8, and 10, and then, a legendary figure.
[Ed] 'The legendary sucker....her boobs are bigger than they were in the anime.'
