42 EPILOGUE

A few months later. Yeah! A few months later!!

They were celebrating on getting the best artists of the year award in their apartment with lavish dinner and a movie. Dont judge, that's their thing. It was unbelievable to even think of what they have achieved. The fact that they were already an established band when they re-debuted, contributed a lot to their success.

Everything was going on perfectly normal, like it should have been. Amy and Archie were more than happy together and right now they were cuddling each other. They had also invited Paul, seeing he was Em's boyfriend now and they were also happy together. If anyone looked at Paul, they can tell how whipped he was for Ember. The tension between Archie and him had also subsided. Ed just had a small talk with Paul and after that everything was fine. As for Eddie,Draco and Stephen... well, they are still single and enjoying life fully.

Amy's phone buzzed silently. She looked at it confusingly. There was no name but a number. She excused herself from there, to which Archie frowned and asked if she was ok, and went to the kitchen to answer the call.

Suddenly they could hear squeals coming from the kitchen. Amy returned with a very big enthusiastic smile on her face. In all her excitement, she literally jumped in Archie's arms, who was caught off guard but still caught her, and kissed him. They all looked at Amy questioningly. Em said,"Amy-" but before she could even start, Amy said,"No, don't make any assumptions. Let me tell you. I have the best news for you guys." They all replied with either nods or uh-huh. She continued,"I still can't believe this is real. Somebody pinch me. I'm so proud of you guys. It feels like a dream. Can you believe it you've been offered a tour!! An official tour of yours!" They all said simultaneously, " Say what?"

Amy giggled and repeated,"Yes guys. You heard it right. A tour!! An official tour of your own." Em squealed loudly and they all rejoiced. Dreams were coming true now.

Their tour would start from Windsor, Hartford to Manchester, then to NY and let's just say they'll cover the whole of the USA. They were more than excited with the news. Lewis wished them all good luck and they were all invited for a dinner by Frank which they enjoyed thoroughly. In a month they would be starting their tour and right now they were giving their all during the practice sessions. Their fans were thrilled with the news. The enthusiasm could be felt everywhere around. Yes, they were all ecstatic, really very very happy and to add a little bit more to the happiness, Archie was planning on buying a promise ring, to tie Amy to himself permanently.

A week before the tour started, after practice they all were tired and returning home when Archie said,"I have to take Amy somewhere so you guys go ahead, we'll be back later." They all understood his preference and agreed. When the others vacated the car and went inside, Amy asked,"What is it about Archie?" He smiled in her direction and got off the car and opened the door for Amy to climb out. She gave him a puzzled look but still followed him. He walked them to their secret secluded place and Amy asked again,"What is it Archie?" He smiled and said,"Just trust me, yeah?" This time she smiled back and nodded. When they entered, there was nothing.

One could hear the crickets chirping and somewhere distantly an owl hooting. The moonlight made the grass around them glow dimly. The atmosphere around them was serene.

Amy was looking at him and he sighed. He said, before pulling out a box from his jeans pocket,"Dont go overboard, okay? This is just a promise ring." Amy giggled at his nervousness. He opened the box and a silver band with two entangled hearts, one of them studded with diamonds, glittered in the moonlight.

Amy held her breath and Archie said,"Promises are made not to be broken, remember? I'm not proposing YET because we are too young but that doesn't mean I will ever change my mind or anything and that's why I'm giving you this ring. Before we start this new journey of ours I just want you to know that I'm always gonna need you by my side and I really, really want you to stay by my side everytime. I don't know what life will throw in our way in the future but I DO know that, with you by my side, everything is gonna be alright. I'll be able to overcome every obstacle with you. I remember when I first entered that classroom, a few years back, I had this gut feeling that my life would change completely.  At that time I thought maybe because our music career was over that's why but guess I was wrong, it was you all along. It was only because of you. When I first saw you, I was really curious about you that's why, that day, I stared at you for the whole period." Both of them chuckled, then he continued,"Well whatever was in the past, let it stay there only but I'm glad that it all happened or else I don't know how our fates would have turned out to be and  I, for once, don't even want to know. I'm very happy with my present life. Actually, more than happy. So yeah, I said, God knows what all bullshit, but forgot to say the main thing."

He took a deep breath then said,"Amy Black, I love you so much with my whole being and I want to make you mine officially one day, 'til that day comes, will you promise, to stay by my side through all the ups and downs that life will bring? Would you accept this promise ring as my commitment to you that yes, one day we'll marry and have our happily ever after and yeah, one more thing I'll  propose you for marriage in front of everyone, I promise."

She giggled and pulled him down by his neck and kissed him full on the lips. It was a sweet, passionate kiss like their souls were entangled and they were both committing to each other with their whole being in existence. Breathless, they pulled back with big grins plastered on their faces and Amy said,"Of course I'll accept it chi."

This time instead of complaining and whining about that nickname, he laughed loudly and spun Amy around in his arms. Amy also let out a carefree laugh. It was their moment. Nobody could interrupt them.

The night, the moon, the stars, the crickets chirping, the air, the clouds, the grass, the single tree standing there and every single leaf of that tree seemed to be celebrating, all were happy. Even their friends were smiling like idiots while decorating the apartment for them. Everyone was happy and all was perfect .

YES! PERFECT!!
