Alright, let's do this according to the rubric Qidian assigns: Translation Quality/Stability of Updates: Neither can be properly verified given it's in Trial Read, so I just put that at 3 - the average. Story Development: It's basically about the same as one of this author's earlier novels, The Strongest System, so it gets no points from me on that - copy/pasting isn't exactly hard. Even disregarding that, however ... it seems like it doesn't quite know what to do with itself. Main character wants to escape? Wait, let's not. Even with what it *does* do, it's not like the story development so far is refreshing or interesting - it's formulaic, something you can find in basically any Xianxia of note. Character Design: It's Lin Fang. Across all the author's works, he's basically the same, and a quintessential non-character all the time. This isn't a character prone to depth or anything, he's just a tool for comedic hijinks and random 'moments of awesome' that have so far been something of a nothingburger considering the very premise of this story (along with some forced emotional moments that just made me roll my eyes, again because of the story premise - I guess they were played for humor, because of it? Didn't really appeal). The other characters aren't any better - they fulfill the stereotypes of the MC's buddies, his enemies are made out to be the scum of the earth, everything the MC does is to showcase his power and intelligence - you know the drill. World Background: Basically non-existent so far. It's a Xianxia world with sects, following the Xianxia tropes. Not exactly deep, yo. Mind, this is basically a cookie-cutter 'shameless protagonist Xianxia', so if that's what you like, then this is for you. It just does nothing interesting with it, or even explores the characters, situations or environment - what you go in this expecting, you get, so in that sense this might even be considered sensible of the author - churn out populist stuff that pleases the niche Xianxia audience, and hey, you get oodles of cash with little need for thinking deeply. Works like a charm.

Our man Lin Fan is back with more bullsh*t, posturing, and hijinks. Coupled with immortality and a system to help him become invincible, what could go wrong? He gets points from killing and can roll a gacha for items or skills and can also level up those skills. From dying, cultivating, and consuming pills, he gets exp which can be used to breakthrough. He feels no pain and uses his system to his advantage to reap benefits and trick others. In conclusion, it was a very fun read. Lin Fan just goes around doing whatever he can to get stronger. Of course there are some cliches but it is enjoyable nonetheless.

why did they pick a book from a such a cliche and untrustworthy author? **** don't even know how to properly end a book. Just drop the old one and start a new book which is a re-skin of the old book with only one difference " an OP ability". Really a dumb qidian.

It's by the author we all know and love. And I pretty much love the name Lin Fan at this point Can this novel even go wrong? Is it possible? If that actually happens , then rather than the belief that we GO to hell , it's more likely that we are already in one

i will just talk about the translators with the Translator from chapter 1 to 317: Translator: Exodus Tales: perfect translation, smooth, fun to read. The Translator from chapter 318 to the end: Translator: 549690339 (whats wrong with that name ?? is that a phone number?? xD): Translator is a big word that he is not fit to be called that because he didn't translate anything. then is he editor??? hmmm no he is unworthy to be called that then what is he? he is MTL Spice thrower (mtl translation but little little bit better) that's all. its sad to see one of Lin Fan stories fall because of translations :(

Looking good for now. But the author has the bad habit of FORCING HAREM. He did the same for A Valiant Life (Suddenly harem out of nowhere after a timeskip), and The Storngest System (A VERY forced harem, like really really really forced just for comedic purposes which completely ruined the story for me). So I am afraid to read this. The authors novels goes mostly like this, Not harem until the last 50 chapters with there being only one girl. Then at the last few chapters suddenly the mc fucks it and fucks other chicks. GG EZ.

Love the novel. However, it seems they threw the translation quality out the window after they returned from the hiatus. Such a shame, it was a pretty good novel.

Aight. This book and every other book written by this author are amazing. If you disagree, check your humor sense. It's sad that the translators dropped it. I loved this book. Hope it gets picked up by someone competent.
