21 Testing His Beliefs

Assistant Nam led Yonna to a room furnished with a couches and a coffee table laid right in the center of it.

Yonna sat down awaiting for Taejoon's arrival. The room became awkwardly quiet but from a distance Yonna could hear the foot steps being made from outside as they got louder. Finally the doors opened wide, Taejoon had walked in putting on airs.

"Sorry did I make you wait?.." he sat down lightly.

"It's a little past time but it'll have to do." She was seldom, her face was plastered the blankness of her face.

Taejoon crossed his legs and called for Assistant Nam to bring a thick file of papers containing the conditions and auspicious.

As Yonna read the agreement she wanted to make somethings clear.

"If we are going to come with an agreement I'll have to leave strictly at 3."

"You'll have to leave straight at 3?" Taejoon wondered why she had such a strict condition and also being very specific.

"I have... 2 puppies waiting at home and no one has the time to care for them, so I have to to leave to do so." She wasn't entirely lying, sometimes she even wondered if she gave birth to puppies instead of children since they acted wild at some times.

'When did she ever like dogs, I thought she was mortified by them?' His evil smile creeped through as he handed a pen to Yonna waiting for her to sign it, to be in his willing hands.

Yonna looked at his face, then back down reluctant to sign. But slowly she pushed the pen down as her signature was marked by the ink across the paper permanently stating she would only be his.

"Then I'll see you tomorrow won't I?" Yonna stood up and took out her hand.

It was to quick for her to react but Taejoon grabbed her arm pulling it towards himself. Her face was so close to his, she could clearly see his beautiful eyes up close.

Taejoon let go smirking an her

"Yonna don't regret now cause your now mine."

"Yo... you." Yonna ran out the room slapping her flushed cheeks. Forgetting to get her part of the negotiatin.

Clinching hard in hand staring at the flush Yonna running away was Joy. Joys hands bled as she pierced her nails into her skin.

"Honey I'm here to see you, bandage me." he shoved her hand out to show her wound to Taejoon. As agitated as Joy was she kept her other face conealed.

"Ah chan my mother told me to bring you food." She smiled but Taejoon walked pass her not even acknowledging her.

"Hello, Dr. Park come up here and treat Kong Joy-shi."

He looked at her for a quick second.

"If it's something as little as that don't come to me." He left the room leaving as his mood was soiled by her presence.

"My apologies Lady Joy, CEO Moon has a very important meeting to attended and doesn't have time to waste." He bowed down quickly and ran out to catch up to Taejoon.

"WHATS MORE IMPORTANT THEM ME!!" She smashed the food onto the floor and allowed it to spill everywhere. Dr. Park being there at the wrong time panicked when he saw the mess.

As Joy screamed kneeling.

"Lady Joy what's the matter, are you alright." The Doctor called people trying to help ease Joys tantrum.

All day Yoon Min stayed locked up in his hotel room letting no seeps of light enter the blinds.

He had to much to drink as could tell by how much alcohol bottles laid around. Yoon Min thought so much about his painful past of betrayal from his past lover and also his eldest brother.

He remembered her cheerful beauty, her smile as bright as the suns ray. She was a commoner born in a middle class family. Her name was Seo Hyeon.

Yoon Min remember how much he had loved Seo Hyeon, only to find her in bed with his eldest brother.

Back then he had always thought that Kyu Hyuk pushed him out of the spotlight for a good reason. Yoon Min saw how savage the media could be, so it terrified him. But as he got older he soon realized that it wasn't anything like he said, the only reason he pushed him out was because his own selfish need for becoming the successor of the family.

To Kyu Hyuk, Yoon Min was only a pest that needed to be removed. Yoon Min's existence meant that it would shake Kyu Hyuk's position, so removing him would be one less obstacle.

Yoon Min remembered that night like the back of his head. As Yoon Min had walked into the dark hallway of his home, he walked nervously ready to propose to Seo Hyeon. But as he creeped open the door leading to the master bed room he saw Kyu Hyuk and Seo Hyeon together. His eyes with fear and anger as fell to his knees while the tears within his eyes fell.

Yoon Min couldn't take it anymore an left the house ignoring whatever he saw. He was for sure that they both didn't notice him. After a while he permanently ghosted her, every time she had tried to call him or text him he'd ignored it. Her calls and text became less and less until they stopped coming through.

Leaving everything behind he took off to Dubai never officially ending things with her. After a year or so he heard the news that Kyu Hyuk had another affair with his wife and even had a child with the mistress again. No doubt in Yoon Mins' mind he knew it was Seo Hyeons' child.

Kyu Hyuk was notorious for being a player even after marriage it hadn't tied him down. Yoon Min was sure that Joy was just the lucky one to be her fathers first victim. His hatred for Kyu Hyuk was far beyond hourse play. Yoon Min only learned if he stayed away from Kyu Hyuk he wouldn't have the urge to kill him.

But now Yonna was testing his beliefs pushing him to his end. All this unsettled time did he really crave for revenge?
