20 Final Goal?

Yonna saw how Yoon Min reacted, she became hesitant and doubtful but held herself together. This wasn't the out come she had imaged it would be. Yonna felt that she had overestimated herself and had thought she was acting like an arrogant person would. Seeing how she acted she felt ashamed about bring some painful stuff up.

"I'm sorry I brought up a unspoken memory for yours. She bowed down to him show her dearest sympathy.

"I was also like you, after getting dumped and giving birth, I was to afraid of the world. I allowed irrelevant people to push me down and that made me run far away from my problems. But I was sick of being pushed around, now this time I promised myself to take down those who disregarded me.

I bluntly think instead of hiding and running away from your problems you should start looking forward and stop regretting. I'm not going to force you to work along side with me but if you ever decide to.." Yonna pushed a business card that had her email and number, once again she bowed and left him to comfort himself in the shallow dark room shutting the door behind her.

Even if he decided not to work with her, she wouldn't hold it against him. Yonna understood that everyone had their own way of dealing with pain. It would be a huge blow to her efforts but she couldn't do anything about it.

As the party started to decrease and the guest from earlier started to leave Yonna still needed to deal with one more matter.

Yonna stood in front of the restrooms quietly making sure not to attract attention or suspicious wondering eyes.

That's when the person who she had waited for finally came through.

"Excuse me?" Yonna stood her ground an prepared herself.

Taejoon was baffled that this time it was Yonna who approached him first. He didn't say anything and allowed her to speak.

"I would like to have the CCTV footage of the day I came to your hospital." Yonna said as her heart was beating out of control trying to over come her heart.

'How could she act as if our meeting never happened?' He scrunched up his brow frustrated to know how Yonna truly felt about him.

"Are you really going to act like the event a few days ago never actually happened." He pressed the question onto her wanting to know even her slightest intentions.

"I'm sorry but I would like to point out that your topic is quite irrelevant to mine." She tried to keep a blank face and believe in her abilities, but Taejoon made her question herself.

"Is that all you wanted, how about when you were on the ground did you ever wonder why I picked you up? Or even when you couldn't take it anymore did you wonder why I cared?" Taejoon let out all his inner thoughts and wondered about Yonna's.

"I'm thankful you did such a kind thing. But..." Yonna's confidence deteriorated, her voice shook as she spoke.

"I didnt feel anything at the time..." Yonna smuggled her lips together as she could feel her eyes well with water trying to keep hold her emotions.

The hall that they were in began to get cold as they both became silent notaking any sound like they perviously did.

"Fine if you want the CCTV footage you'll have to become my personal secretary for 5 months." He was determined in that amount of time he would be able to make Yonna head over heels for him like she did back then.

Yonna hastily looked up at him gawking at him. She swallowed hard was the risk worth taking.

"F..fi..fine as long as I get the CCTV footage right away."

She gently rubbed her welled up eyes away. Even if she didn't want to it's all she could do, she would take the chance even if it meant sticking with him.

Yonna thought she got a great steal, but reality it was Taejoon who was on top. He laughed to himself walking away slowly with a heavy foot.

After the party was over she went into the parking lot, inside Daesong was ready to leave his engine had already stared. As he was about to push the gas Yonna opened the car door and slipped in.

"Yah Yonna you scared me! Can't you enter a car like a normal person would?" Daesong had his hand to his heart as he chickened out after Yonna forcibly slid in the car.

Yonna ignored his foolishness and spoke whatever she needed to say

"I was able to get full cooperation with CEO Moon about the CCTV footage." She yawned today was a long day for her. So much happened in a short amount of time.

"You did, but isn't Moon Taejoon engaged to Joy? Don't you think he's going to stab us in the back if we trust him?" Daesong whined thinking Yonna was idiot for making a huge risk.

When Yonna hear about the Joy part her heart ached a little. As she pounded on her heart with her fist she wanted to believe he wouldn't stab them in the back, since his collaboration meant she would be a step closer to her goal.

"Will just have to believe in his ability and trust him, only time will tell if he isn't." But then again Yonna remembered her deal. One moment she was calm then the next she started to cures under her breath blushing and moving vigorously around.

"Huh why are you whining it should be me damn it!?" Together they curse and hit the things around them to let the bottle of stress out.

When Yonna arrived home the first thing she did was flop onto the bed like her soul left her body. She swung her legs back and forth and she screamed into her pillow.

"Mommy are you in pain?" Sarang was worried for her mommy's well being and Chinhwa acted as if it was a normal for their family.

"Hmm mommy's in pain but if you hug me I won't be in pain no more." Yonna hugged her and knocked right out drooling as she slept well that night.

The next morning after dropping off the kids Yonna contemplated if she should call Taejoon or not. She breathed in and out try to prepare herself, she picked up her phone and started dialing the number Taejoon handed her.

"Hello..." assistant Nam answered right away.

"He.. hello may I talk to Moon Taejoon-shi please?" Assistant Nam answered so freakishly fast Yonna wasn't prepared for it as she tried to mentally practice what to say.

Taejoon was finishing paper work he didn't expect Yonna to call immediately after the dinner party. He expect her to sheepishly avoid coming.

"CEO Moon it seems lady Kong has finally made the expected call." Assistant Nam handed the phone over, he was very curious on why after all these years did Yonna finally decided to contact CEO Kong?

"Taejoon-shi I'll becoming over to your office to speak about our agreement." She spoke very formally and short.

"Yes of course I'll be waiting for your arrival." Taejoon felt his eyebrow twitch as he caught on to her formal speech.

(When speaking in Korean the -shi part at the end of a name is usually to call formally to men and women.)
