17 A Couple More Goals

"Aren't you speaking to formally to me? You have the audacity to tell me I'm not fitting to be a director and you dare to also disrespect me. Did you already forget who I am? I am older then you by 3 years and more so from the main family." Yonna straighten her back and looked dead straight into Naeun's eye.

Naeun gasped as she stepped back leaving a gap between them. Naeun didn't know why she felt so afraid of Yonna, but just having Yonna confront her alone made Naeun's leg tremble.

In the background of all this Joy clenched the wine glass, Joy bit her tongue so hard she could taste iron in her mouth. She slammed the wine glass so hard onto the table that it cracked a bit. Standing up she slowly made her way towards Naeun. At first Naeun thought she was going to get hit by Joy again, but then Joy held her hands and smiled at Naeun giving her some comfort.

"Yonna you shouldn't act like this. Naeun is still very young and who doesn't know her place. But don't forget who started all this, if you hadn't done a better job at being a director Naeun wouldn't have pent her frustration on you." Just her words alone the guest around them gave saint to Joy and hatred towards Yonna.

'So useless, why do I have to put face and even my precious time to always save you. Once you become so useless to me I'll throw you into the forest were the wolves will feed off your body.'

Naeun didn't notice but Joy was so irritated she pierced her nails into Naeun's skin as Joy still gave a plastered reassuring smile to her, but Naeun was so immersed that she only saw what everyone else saw a true saint.

Yonna squinted her eyes and noticed Joys actions this person is very, very manipulative. Seeing how dedicated Naeun was to her made Yonna somewhat feel bad for the naive kid. But the weak will always fall prey to the strong.

"Maybe she still has lots to learn but doesn't mean I'm terrible." Yonna popped her phone out and on her phone was a chart.

"Look at this ever since coming into office I have been making sales non-stop. I actually am improving the company not bringing it down. I've been doing this all alone, without any foreign help."

With that Yonna glimpsed at Joys face as she froze but quickly recovered.

"Well isn't that great." Joy clapped her hands as she to had fallen to a tremble.

'Does she know I'm working with those Japanese gangsters. No she couldn't have they promised to have erased their tracks.'

"I thought you were so involved with the business but I guess you only know the outer part of it."  Yonna said as Joy looked pale and blink. Joy thought she had the upper hand, but in reality this was all planned out by Yonna.

From far away someone else found Yonna's intentions amusing. Taejoon looked at the delicate Apple with her bright skin and plump blood red lips she was alluring to him.

The biggest appearance finally showed up, as everyone cheered and clapped they finally came out. It's been 5 years since the last time Yonna saw her grandparents. Her grandfather Hwajoeng had the same charisma flowed through like Daesongs' and even though Yonna never liked her grandmother Sumi she couldn't hide the vibrate elegance that radiated off Sumi, she was a model to every women out their.

Yonna didn't seem interested but she decided to go up front like the rest of her family. That's when Yonna finally met up with Daesong again.

"It's been awhile hmm." Yonna smiled as she clapped along with everyone else. That's when everyone's attention glided onto each member of the Kong family. Those who were guest wanted to see which shameless family member would suck up to the elderly Kong couples.

That's when the youngest child of the elderly Kongs came up.

"Father, Mother isn't a beautiful night. Everyone please give them one more round of applause!"

Yoon Min brightly smiled, Yoon Min was about in his early 30's and had his own separate business, so he didn't need to crave for the original Kong succession unlike Joys family. He was also the youngest child out of the three brothers, Joys father being the eldest son and Yonna's father being the second son.

The guest around barely even knew of Yoon Min's existence, his achievements were never publicized nor taking the world by storm. One could say he never matched the image of a true Kong. But that wasn't the case for Yonna, her eyes were totally set onto his.

To be truthful Yonna did some research on her own, apparently Yoon Min wasn't the unfit child of the Kongs' after all. He was spectacular, it even took Yonna by surprise, Yoon Min owed not only just a regular business but a huge international business in Dubai called Foraging.

Yonna also knew about his deepest resentment towards Joys father Kyu Hyuk. Back then Kyu Hyuk forcibly and secretly pushed Yoon Min out of the Kong residence and out of public eyes, that's the reason why many people forgot who he was. Yoon Min was supposed to be a bright ball of light but was wrapped into a clothe, but now in present time will the clothe burn to flames and the bright light will rise again.

Yonna was quite proud of her discovery about her young uncle who she was never close to. Yonna was slowly making her little army quietly in secret.

Her eyes slowly glided onto Taejoon's as well, Yonna's heart skipped a beat as she hit her heart to stop acting foolish. But Yonna had a couple more goals to the dinner party then anticipated now that he appeared.
