Elena tried to focus on the lecture, even though, she is aware of "HIM" sitting beside her.

Poor girl!

She heard Murat tapping his pen on the desk incessantly. He does that when he is too nervous.

Elena leaned over to his ear and whispered with her gentle voice, "Is something bothering you?"

His body stiffened and his heart lurched into frenzied activity at the sound of her voice.

He heaved a breath and turned to her. "I am fine, would you like to trade our seats?" he said expectantly and glanced at Edwin who was staring at them the whole time.

"It's alright, he isn't troubling me," she said heedfully.

She sensed Edwin poking her arm with his pen!

She raised an eyebrow at him questioningly about his irrelevant action during class.

Edwin gulped and acted scared, "If only looks could kill... I would have died the very moment!" he said.

Elena laughed at his pretense, "Is it that... easy peasy to kill you?"

Murat couldn't take it anymore but glare at Edwin; but, Edwin ignored his stare and leaned close to her ear, looking straight into Murat's eyes, "If it's you...I am blithe to die," he whispered in his husky voice.

What a flirt!!!!

A shiver ran down her spine and she instinctively moved towards Murat.

Now she regretted denying to trade seats!

Edwin smirked, seeing Elena's reaction.

As the time was up, the professor made an announcement, "So my dear students, I am giving you a weekday span for you guys to pair up and complete the first project. You and your partner should make equal contributions. That's all for today."

Everyone around started to look for partners in the project.

"You are mine!" Edwin blurted out turning towards Elena as soon as the professor was done making his announcement.

"What!!!" Elena looked shocked at his statement.

Meanwhile, Murat who heard Edwin is fuming and is on the verge of losing his patience.

Edwin, stop testing Murat's patience!!!

"You are my partner in the project" Edwin stated, with a cocky grin and was raising his eyebrow.

Edwin is waiting for Murat to react and he wants to see, how long, Murat can hold his serene expression.

"She is going to be my partner, so find someone else!" Murat said with priceless frostiness.

When Elena heard him, she is delighted and blushed, looking down.

She heaved a sigh of relief and turned to Edwin. "I will be his partner".

For some reason, Edwin looked hurt when he heard her but he quickly recovered.

"Ouch!!" he said clutching his heart in a dramatic way and then continued, "Offer is still valid, no need to hurry".

"It will always be him," she wanted to say but restrained herself.

"No thanks," she said smiling.

Everyone moved on to their next classes.

"We have different subjects this period. I will head to my class." Elena said turning to Murat and left.

Murat and Edwin exchanged a cold glare and left for their respective classes.

At lunch hour, Elena went to the canteen to have her lunch. She got herself a chicken fiesta pizza and headed to a corner to have a peaceful lunch.

While she is devouring her food, she heard a loud noise and saw everyone in the canteen already surrounding the scene. She looked confused at the peeps, who are busy making a video of the scene. She ignored them since she doesn't want to witness the drama. But she heard someone wailing and the people gasping at the scene. Feeling curious, she walked to the crowd.

When she reached the front row, the scene in front of her made her furious!

A group of four girls surrounded a frail girl. She is drenched in coke and her eyes are scarlet from incessant sobbing. Just when Elena is about to step in to protect the girl, she saw Murat moving towards the girls coldly.

"Leave her alone!" he said glaring at them coldly.

When those girls saw him, they couldn't help but swoon over him.

One of the girls, who must be the leader, came forward when she saw Murat. She was beautiful and held a demeanor of dominance.

"Ugh..sorry to bother you. My friends were just...teaching her a lesson for what she did," she said, slightly blushing.

Murat ignored the girl who is speaking and gave his coat to the girl, who is completely drenched.

Everyone around looked at him in awe and enjoyed the drama.

"Are you alright? Go to the clinic after cleaning yourself up," he said gently.

The girl nodded at him and ran away from the canteen with his coat wrapped around her.

"I am Christine," the girl said, extending her hand towards Murat.

Murat instantly turned cold and left the place.

"Ow!! He is so cool!"

"Godly handsome!!!!"

Girls shrieked and kept staring at the retreating man.

When he left, Christine's friends came to her and questioned her behavior.

"We were just having fun with that dumb lamb, weren't we?" One of her friends asked Christine while laughing devilishly.

"I WANT HIM!!" Christine said looking at Murat's direction with determination.

Her friends exchanged glances knowingly and left the place. Christine is the daughter of the dean of the Springfield University. She has three followers, who entertain her by bullying others and complimenting her once in while.

When Elena heard her, she wanted to strangle the girl but restrained herself and went to her table. While she is having her lunch, the girl's voice rewound in her brain.
