Hide and seek

Murat is too embarrassed to admit that he is petrified of scary and haunted houses. Everyone around is too thrilled by the idea of hiding and seek except him. Elena seems to be neutral so he just shook his head denying.

"It's not like..mm...I am frightened by them, but you can say that I don't like those games" he whispered back.

"Is it ?"Elena replied smiling as if she believed in him.

"Now guys we will go to the next door and I will brief the rules, okay?"Nixon announced standing on the tea table placed in front of the sofa.

Everyone nodded and shrieked at his announcement and ran towards the Spirit Villa. When every one of his group reached the doorstep of the villa, Nixon turned towards them to announce the rules.

"So, we are of 10 peeps in total. I and Lucien will be the seekers and so you all need to pair up and hide. Even if one member of your pair is caught, both we will be out of the game as well. The first looser gets punished and the winner gets rewarded, whereas punishment and reward are secret as for now."Nixon gave a one hell whole speech to his friends as if they are getting ready for the battle. His friends started whispering what might be the punishment, that he planned for the looser. As for Nixon, he might have planned something, which makes a person go pale by his acts.

"Hey man!! Reveal the punishment. I am too much scared of your punishment rather than this ghost house" Vishal asked Nixon and he seems to be too scared by the idea of punishment.

"Stop talking! hurry up and choose your partner. We will be coming to seek in 3 minutes" he said looking at his wristwatch.

Soon Murat caught Elena's hand and left towards the house, without giving any chance to her to speak. Devlin and Nina paired up and ran into the house to hide. Only Vishal, Arjun, Tara and Aria are left. Aria went up to Arjun and as well the remaining two paired up and ran into the Spirit Villa. At the doorstep, there are two skeletons hanging on either side. Murat is too scared at the sight of them, but he didn't make it obvious.

"Murat...are you sure, you are okay?"Elena asked gently. She is too delighted that he had chosen her but one way she is worried about him.

"Uhh...Don't leave my hand okay," he asked scratching his neck.

"If I have a chance, I won't leave you for a second "She wanted to say but instead she replied smiling,"I won't".

They entered the villa, and its pitch black. Murat turned on his Mobile's flashlight and moved forward to hide but his steps came to halt when he looked the around. There are Skeletons hanging all over the hall. Green and Red lights are flashing for every few minutes. Webs with spiders are also arranged all over the villa. Here and there, there are people with red color which seems to be as blood, over white dresses looking like ghosts. Totally Nixon gave a deadly scary look to the villa. As if sensing Murat's uneasiness, Elena took his hand in her and walked to the left. All others are already hiding so Elena hurried. They reached other room which has the same arrangements as in hall. There is a storeroom next to that room. Elena hurried into the room with Murat behind her, and she closed the door. All the while, Murat is closing is his eyes. When Elena saw him, she smiled.

"You may open your eyes, I am here" she whispered in his ear tiptoeing. She blushed hard and as he couldn't see her face in the darkness she didn't try to hide her feelings for the first time.

"mmm...I think I don't want to .." Murat whined.Elena couldn't help but smile at his act.

"I think Nixon started his seeking mission" Elena whispered looking around so that they could hide. There is closet at the corner of the room, so Elena walked them inside the closet and closed the door.

"Are we...uhh.. in some closet ?"Murat asked her. There is little space in the closet, so Elena is basically sandwiched between Murat and the door.

"I guess ..uhh..you are correct," she said and a flush creeping on her neck, and their close proximity made her mind fuzzy.

Nixon walked in, with Lucien carrying a camera behind him. They heard someone whispering and walked tiptoeing in the direction of the sound. Arjun and Aria are behind the sofa.

"You both !! We caught you!!"Nixon and Lucien jumped in excitement.

"Told you, not to use the Insta now! You didn't listen to me! Oh god !!!That punishment!!! Arhhh!!!!"Arjun shouted at the top of his lungs.

"You should have shut your mouth.. that's...that's not my mistake"Aria shrugged.

Nixon and Lucien turned to find the others. They probably searched all the villa and they reached the garden with large bushes.,there they heard someone moaning. Soon Nixon reached the place of the source of the sound and he saw that behind the bushes, uh..uh..his friends are making out.

"Oh my..haha.. sweet god!!!What.. haha.. the hell !! Vishal, Tara ...haha.. "Nixon and others started laughing clutching their belly. Tara hid behind Vishal blushing.

Suddenly they heard someone shouting and ran to them.

"Devlin!Leave my god damn hair!!"Nina shouted at Devlin.

"You! you leave my hair first !"Devlin shouted back.

"OWW..OW...HAHA.What haha What else should my poor eyes have to catch a sight of"Nixon broke into an uncontrollable fit.

Devlin and Nina accused each other of getting caught and the last couple is Murat and Elena. They tried searching for them for 20 min.,but they couldn't find them.

"I wonder what they two are doing..uhh... I mean see we couldn't find them..."Lucien said hesitatingly not to offend Nixon.

"Both are quite good at hiding, we have to admit that, "Tara said holding Vishal by arm.

Nina and Devlin seem to be worried for Elena as she hasn't been to this kind of places ever.

"Come let us find them together," Nina said in cold voice and walked away.

House being pitch dark and those scary things all around, Murat and Elena didn't try to utter a word and enjoyed the silence. Murat held Elena by the waist to support her. When they heard the voices of their friends, they realized that they are only left.

"Murat! Elena!!, Please come out !! You guys are the winners!! "Nixon shouted aloud so that they can come out as they are tired of finding them.

Hearing them, Elena opened the closet door and walked out. She thought, those few moments with him in the closet, that close to him was the best moments of her life. When they reached to their friends, Nixon walked to Murat and gave a bro hug.

"Bro!! You rocked today!! Wow! I didn't expect you to hide so brilliantly."Nixon patted Murat and hugged him again. He then turned to Elena eyeing her.

"Wow Elena, I didn't expect this from you too! You guys rocked!"Nixon shrieked.

Elena nodded and left the place, as she doesn't want Murat to feel uncomfortable anymore. Soon everyone came out of the house. Nixon suddenly stopped everyone shouting loud.

"Stop!! follow me," he said and walked towards the swimming pool.

"NO!!NO!! Arhh...."Arjun shrieked as if guessing what the punishment is.

"Yes!Yes! Now the punishment is ...you guys have to jump into the pool"Nixon grinned wickedly and Lucien and Visual held Arjun by legs and thrown him into the pool, and Aria jumped herself.

"Shit man!! Water is damn cool !!AHH..!!"Arjun and Aria shouted sprinkling water at Nixon.

"That's the punishment dude haha" Lucien laughed at his friend's miserable state.

"So coming to the winners,they have to...WAIT! You guys guess it. That will be more interesting "Nixon shrieked with laughter.
